1. Bah. King Carnage doesn’t need Parliament to rule this country into the ground. All he needs is his unshakable will and a handy pen to sign OiCs.

2. If they were only paid for 73 days, would they laze around? I doubt it very much. Maybe we need to put that idea into law…

   1. OK – I am moving to Alberta and getting elected to Parliament in Ottawa.
      $203,100 a year plus $10,800 allowance – all for a few days of “work” a year. You betcha, eh.

5. Then their salaries and pensions should be cut by 80%, down to 20%.

6. We’d all be better off without any federal government.

8. Liberal MPs need time to run their other businesses, namely; consulting, supplying software to the government, and investing all the money they skim off from government spending.

9. Work less, steal more. Too bad this is about the only area of gov’t that is efficient.

    the rest of them are just languishing, and there is no budget passed, so does the government run out of money in 10 days when the special warrant runs out?
