  1. And yet we have almost five billion dollars to give to Ukraine? Is that to boost our NATO spending? And what about that place called Parliament, where the spending of tax dollars used to be debated? Are we post-democracy as well as post-national? Does Canada Inc. CEO Mark Carney give a damn about democracy, or is he just concerned what his Davos pals think? I don’t expect any answers to these questions, although I wish our bought and paid for media would stir themselves to ask a question or two before heading to the pub.

    1. What is this “democracy” of which you speak? We are ruled by socialistic oligarchs.

    2. L – + +. The “Legacy Media are a propaganda arm of the administrative state. Dr. Robert Malone
wrote a book “PsyWar”, after being the victim of a slander campaign, and wanting to
understand how both the MSM and the digital social media manipulate people so effectively. The panic-demic was military grade effective.

People make decisions based on emotions e.i. TDS determined the recent federal election.
The MSM promoted that so effectively, most voters forgot the last ten years of chaos and corruption. Those most easily frightened are the older demographic and women. Those demographics vote Liberal/NDP or Democrat in higher percentages, but all of us are effected
to some degree, even if only subconsciously.

      1. Slight correction, dumb people, and most women base decisions on emotion. Women are not dumb at all, it is just the way they’re wired, but emoting is no substitute for thinking.

  2. Most voters are oblivious to the damage being done by the borrowing spree. They just want more free stuff. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen this mindset as widespread as it is today. My sense is that the trend really accelerated during the pandemic, and most people have come to the erroneous conclusion that since the borrowing spree didn’t crash the economy back then, it never will.

  3. Mark Carnage giving lots of money to his liberal friends.

Re the billions supposedly going to Ukraine; how much is skimmed off by LPC and friends?

  4. March 2024 the accumulated Federal Deficit was at $1,225,197 Million
March 2025 the accumulated Federal Deficit was at $1,273,087 Million

An increase right around $50 billion

But the Gross debt went from $2,032,418 Million to $2,180,839 Million, and increase of just under $150 billion, which begs the question is there Governmental Approved Accounting Practices going on to make it look better than it is?

  5. “It is very difficult to know exactly what the government’s forecasts are.”

How is this any different than Trudeau? And we have a former banker running the country…

    1. How is this any different than Trudeau?

I suspect Carnage is spending more than Turdeau.

  6. There is no plan to curtail spending – none at all. The Cloward Piven strategy includes massive spending as part of a three pronged attack to bring about communism by collapsing a society. Guess what the other two prongs are? Uncontrolled immigration and bloated bureaucracy. See the pattern? And it is being attempted across Europe and the UK as well.
