Prime Minister Mark Carney yesterday promised an immediate 27 percent increase in defence spending. One member of Carney’s caucus said a spring budget was out of the question since “numbers are changing rapidly.”

The budget will have debt servicing take a greater portion of funds than military, or health, and it’s grown so much in the past 5 years all at the command of the federal gov’t.
They have no one to blame but themselves. Clearly they’ll say the scamdemic was a national threat, and expect hatred from them when you point out the other countries which didn’t go to lengths to ruin their economy with debt, and had much better health results, and aren’t at the bottom of the top 20 industrialized nations. (or 30th in health outcomes…).

I don’t know if this is real, but it’s good to see there’s the possibility of a relationship. between the upcoming G7 meeting out in the woods and an uptick in tier 2 Canada’s military spending.

An uptick in military spending in a country with no actual military is such a joke. Most money will go to Librano businesses of the Laurentian Elite.
If this keeps up, even Mexicans will be using Wilfred Lauriers to wipe their asses.
If Carney is willing to spend his money on the military, it’s because he plans to use that military.
Jeez, I wonder what he’ll use it for, on whom he will use it?
