  1. So, in order to get Alberta oil to tidewater, Smith needs to convince Brookfield to invest in Alberta. Have I got that right?

    1. Too hard to make money with all those pesky regulations and royalties and stuff. Better to invest where you can run rampant and use the cash to lobby politicians to lock up the competition (that’s us). Hell, probably cost them a lot less to install Marx Carnage as PM than it would to get past step one of the environmental approvals on a new mining facility here.

  2. Canadians don’t just like being ruled, they need to be ruled. Canadians are gutless sheep, who need mommy taking care of them, and would so gladly trade all of their freedoms for the illusion of security. If we had a communist regime in absolute power, most Canadians would be happy with their bowl of gruel, ready turn in anyone who spoke ill of their masters.
