  1. “Majority of Canadians feel unsafe” That is because most of them are coward, cucked sheep, terrified of free thinking and acting people because it reminds them what subhuman pieces of garbage they are.

    1. The last 10 years have shown me that Canada truly is a Bronze Nation.
By that I mean we are a nation of people who never reach for,or aspire to Gold or never reach for Silver but will only reach for Bronze

  2. Opinions opinions.. The vast majority of Canadians never travel to the USA.. A sour grapes poll IMO, that has no reflection on the people who do so..

    1. Unless you really exaggerated the ou sound or throw in eh grenades most of us will never guess. My oldest sister grew up north of Seattle and she sometimes sounds Canadian.

      You al look so…normal.

  3. I`m heading to the United States twice over the next month. Other idiots are welcome to stay home.

  4. The country I have traveled most in, second to Canada, is the US and I always found the Yanks to be super friendly and super accomodating.

I should add that my Cunuck travels were the same, except when I was on ski trips in Quebec and the waitresses always demanded a tip even though it was already included in the bill.

    1. Ski Vermont. Better than Quebec and…added bonus…none of those annoying French folks. Worth the extra drive.

      1. Oh, I’ve skiied there few times, once when the snow as coming down so thick at Jay Peak that you could barely see where you were going.

Another time when there was barely any snow on the runs. Luckily, that time I met a local gal and spent the week hanging out with her in her nearby town. My pals weren’t so lucky.

  5. “ “The most surprising part was that younger people were less sure about (the line/boundary being artificial), so they may be sort of more vulnerable to that type of rhetoric,” he said.”

Interesting quote, our young people are “vulnerable to rhetoric” you see, it’s not that they could possibly have an opinion different from the pollster and the way questions are being asked.

  6. NGL – I ain’t gonna miss the tubby French Canadians in their three-sizes-too-small/grape-smuggling speedos on the beaches of Wildwood this summer.

  7. Do these reporters evan know where the border is? And how to cross it?

Stay home and stay out of my exit lane.

  8. Both articles are horse shit.
And the CBSA people are ignorant assholes.
Some of them have 3rd world IQ’S and Zero manners.

    1. My wife and I flew to Edmonton a few years ago to see Northern Lights. (We were disappointed.) At Calgary customs, your CBSA guy asked why we were visiting Canada. We told him. We were then ushered into a back room where we were questioned if we had a criminal record and who we knew in Canada. We were in our 50s and we are about as ordinary as you can get. No tattoos, no piercings.

Is Northern Lights really that weird a reason?

We met a very nice young man at Easter services who described Canada as America’s retarded little brother.

      1. I worked a month in upstate NY.
I crossed the border often with my work visa and the US guys were super with me – here’s a working dude helping us fix stuff in our country.
Coming back into Retardlandia I was treated with suspicion.
Same as returns from Europe – middle-aged white guy. WTF?
I probably have a higher security clearance than they do.

  9. Too funny, the retirement community I live in a majority of the residents go to the US for the winter. This year they came back and jumped on the “Elbows up” movement hanging Canadian flags off shrubs, trees etc. asserting they were done with the US–wanna bet they’ll head back to the US come October?

  10. Well when you are bombarded day and night by a laughable media, what would you expect? If you fear going to the U.S., stay out of Democrat cities.

  11. If my dollar was worth only $0.70 … I’d be “fearful” of your country too

  12. Another example of Canada’s mush media peddling more anti American sentiment. Of course the “elbows up “ weasels eat it up like the rest of the pablum served daily . Anyone not fed up with this post national state needs help . Alberta 51 ….

  13. Majority of Canadians feel unwelcome and unsafe travelling to United States: new poll

    And

Canadians warned about border wait times during the long weekend and how to avoid them

Reminds me of that old Yogi-ism: “Nobody goes there anymore. It’s too crowded.”

  14. It’s just more propaganda by Big media, the continuation of falsehoods and wild hyperbole.
We’ve spent 5 weeks in Hawaii this year, and just got back from an Alaska cruise with stops in Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan.
Zero Issues with our American friends.
Zero issues with TSA. Even CBSA was laid back for once.
As usual, the people expressing fears have no idea what they are talking about.
And, so what if you get asked a few extra questions. If you’re not hiding anything, then the questions are easy to answer.
Go and enjoy yourself in the US.
Whatever the media says, remember, the opposite is the truth.

  15. That BS poll is measuring how Canadians claim to FEEL about America. It does not measure Canadian behavior, what Canadians actually DO. Feelings and behaviors are very different things.

I bet ‘a majority of Canadians’ have never actually been to America, mostly because Canada’s outrageous tax rates and low-value dollarette make them too poor to afford the trip.
