Globe and Mail- Measles is spreading quickly in Canada. Where is the public-health response?
Ontario’s total reached 1,020 measles cases last week, almost 100 more than the previous week. Alberta reported 137 cases, up from 105. That seems to be the sum total of the public-health response: counting new cases.

if you’re vaccinated, why are you worried? If you’re not, you live with your own decisions. I wish people could just leave each other alone. Measles, is not a threat to any society. FACT: more people have died from the vaccination than ever catching the virus.

I read articles where MIT “scientists” … *ahem* … PROVED the COVID virus could survive on hard surfaces for a week or more!!! Be afraid!!! Be VERY afraid!!! Is it impolite to ask if these cases are among Canadians or are recent imports?
I see the same stuff here in the States. Along with, aside from pronouncing scary numbers by our MSM, a lack of inquiry relevant to this. My assumption is usually along the lines of never showing a photo or giving the name of some immigrant who has done some major crime.
Lots of the Ontario cases are Amish.

I read the article. I did not see any information on number of deaths or serious injury in 2024. Some context would be useful.
The vaccine manufacturers always get their paid lackeys in the media to juice the spring uptake of vaccines. They tried the same thing in Massachusetts in spring 2019. Merck’s stock price went through the roof, of course.
I wish I knew how many were vaccinated with both the MMR and the COVID shot.
Measles. Big deal. Every boomer kid I knew caught measles. None died. And I don’t remember anyone getting hospitalized.

I would recommend the book, “Dissolving Illusions” by Suzanne Humphries, MD, and former nephrologist. You will not be able to see vaccinations, particularly measles, in the same light. The book discusses the history of vaccinations for various ailments and how it was more hype than reality.
Don’t take my word for it. Order the book and read it for yourself. It is not anti-vaccination, but pro-history. And the claims by the creators about vaccinations are dubious at best, felonious at worst. Personally, I think the best way forward is informed consent, and free will choice.
Perhaps if they round up “vulnerable people”, and MAiD them…
There were more than 1,000 cases of measles in south east Kent when I caught it aged six. As did my classmates. When do we put these fearmongering parasites in the Wicker Man?! Why was it not yesterday?
I have had measles. Everyone in my school had measles. Nobody was seriously ill, nobody died.
