Maryland Man

Deported ‘Maryland man’ championed by Dems was pulled over driving car belonging to human smuggler

More: During that 2022 traffic stop, Kilmar Abrego Garcia wasn’t just out for a joyride. He was transporting eight other individuals on a shady cross-country trip from Texas to Maryland. His excuse? They were supposedly headed to do “construction work.” No tools, no luggage—just bodies in a car. Sounds legit, right?

  1. Realizing their “Husband of the Year” narrative was crumbling before their eyes Dems are now focusing their faux rage on the “process”. So you might say they’ve moved on.

When speaking with the trooper, Abrego Garcia allegedly “pretended to speak less English than he was capable of and attempted to put encountering officer off-track by responding to questions with questions.” After the incident, the officer decided not to give Abrego Garcia a citation for the driving infractions, but rather to give him a warning for driving with an expired license.

You see? That right there is a problem. Lucky for the trooper Mr.Garcia didn’t run a red light later that night and wipe out a family of three.

  2. Lazy trooper didn’t want to do the paperwork. Hopefully there were no minors in the vehicle.

    1. “Lazy trooper didn’t want to do the paperwork. Hopefully there were no minors in the vehicle.”

I don’t understand how he was allowed to just drive away. In Canada, your vehicle is impounded if you have no driver’s licence…no ‘warning’ is possible.

      1. So … I’m guessing the human traffickers don’t insure their cars either …
Welcome to CA where every other car on our roads are uninsured … despite laws requiring it.

  3. Member of a foreign terrorist/violent gang organization (that does assassinations for hire, this might be an important thing to note), illegal, wife beater, human smuggler (or adjacent?), union member (perhaps the unions should be asked about this, wonder if their members know?), NGO member.

Wonder what else we’ll find out about Mr. Juan Garcia Abrego and his very fascinating life?

I do wonder why the Dems are so concerned about this particular illegal “Maryland Man”, is it because they care so very much? Is it something else? Maybe we’ll find out!

    1. Good question Jane and I’ve wondered myself. A pundit answered it for me. No…they care not a whit about Mr.Chubbykins Garcia, actually they wish he’d eff off and die but he’s affiliated with a gang involved in a trade and that’s very much on the Dem radar. So what is it? Kiddie trafficking. Democrats and progressives are notorious kiddie diddlers as well as traffickers…that’s their jam. And there’s a lot of money at stake, exporting MS-13 gang members and others cuts into their bottom line as well as their leisure time.
Putting on the appearance of humanitarianism is their sideshow.
Anyone…a progressive, Democrat, Liberal, whatever they want to be called advocating for gang affiliated immigrants to simply waltz into a country unvetted should immediately be given the side eye.
      Bar none.

      1. I’ll qualify it for you a bit more: that organization is involved in more than one trade that the Democrats are quite interested in (and it isn’t just the Democrats — there are others, though not to the same amount).

But indeed, it certainly isn’t for humanitarian reasons.

  4. An essential item in the Garcia story (from one who “argued the case with his wife”) is the whole vexed question of “mistakenly deported him”. This has been subject to muddied waters; as an example thereof, one news item stated that a government official who said it was a mistake had lied about it in court, and been fired by Trump for it.

So here’s the skinny on the “mistakenly deported” thing, should you find yourself arguing it with your wife (or indignant teenage daughter). Garcia’s deportation WAS NOT a mistake; as an illegal immigrant and member of a designated terrorist gang he was going to be deported, regardless – but he was granted protection by an immigration judge against being deported TO EL SALVADOR – that was the mistake: (https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.mdd.578815/gov.uscourts.mdd.578815.1.0.pdf – first paragraph)

This opens another whole new can of worms, naturally. As he was a citizen of El Salvador, where else would the U.S. deport him to, and why would El Salvador let him out? And if he’d had the time he might have arranged refugee status in some other country, although I’m at a loss to imagine what other country would offer refugee status to a known MS-13 member.

You lose some, and you lose some…

      1. “You’re ahead of most here at SDA, but you’re still behind”

And you’re still obsessed with this story, unable to keep from making a fool of yourself over and over again. Like Pavlov’s dogs, you just can’t help yourself, can you? Once MS-13 was ruled a terrorist organization the usual ‘due process’ laws *no longer applied*.

It’s over. HE’S GONE. No one cares what SCOTUS ruled after the fact. HE’S GONE, and never setting foot in the United States again. Everyone sees that the Democrats and their idiot enablers once again tried to use the courts to embarrass Donald Trump by seeking out left-wing judges give them an air of legitimacy , and they once again failed miserably. The American public is firmly behind Trump in this situation. Your continued whining about court filings is irrelevant, and only serves to illustrate the depth of your Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Keep flogging that dead horse, little guy…it’s pathetic, but it reminds everyone here who you really are.

        1. I checked … no activist Judges sued Eisenhower to prevent him from deporting more than 1 million Mexicans here illegally… back to Mexico. That was when Judges understood their role in keeping Americans safe.

        2. “No one cares what SCOTUS thinks”

And that’s exactly what the Trump administration wants.

Now it’s time to wait for the unintended consequences.

    1. Perhaps the amount of Democrat/media screaming about it and paid protests manned by college kiddies.
But this likely won’t take off as much as they want it to; illegals were not a winning issue for the Dems (so unpopular is the issue that some CoC Republicans are getting pushback now).

  5. Semi-related.

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14641251/Gavin-Newsom-sanctuary-city-illegal-immigrant.html

Gavin Newsom, Governor of California and Presidential hopeful, was planning to release an illegal immigrant who was driving drunk and under the influence of drugs when he slammed into 2 teenage sweethearts who ended up burning to death in their smashed car. But …

“California Governor Gavin Newsom has agreed with collaborate with ICE and hand over an illegal immigrant convicted of vehicular manslaughter after widespread fury about his impending release from prison.”

    When you’ve lost California…

    1. “The absence of tools means little. A construction company might well provide the tools. It still looks suspicious.”

Also suspicious is the fact that no mention was made of whether these eight passengers had any ID with them.

      Why wasn’t ICE called?

      1. Was the vehicle a mini-bus that could safely handle 8 passengers, or was there another infraction overlooked?
