Indeed, in a very real sense, we are witnessing the criminalisation of everyday life. Increasingly, everyday activities, such as feeding pigeons, playing ballgames or merely standing in a group are being criminalised.
I enjoy vid snippets of Border Collies herding sheep where they don’t want to go…….this, however, is a whole new dimension….the sheep voting for/hiring/paying for the Collies……such is ‘progress’….I guess.
The sheep are voting for the “porters” who will load them onto the “orient” express.

A number of years back I read (in English) a Scandinavian/Finnish book of short detective stories. The foreword outlined how the left had infiltrated every aspect of their life, from politics to media to ‘education’ and beyond…..and now it’s worsened (everywhere) exponentially…….especially among those with worthless ‘degrees’.

Do you have a permit for that? Creeping Permission. For any number of reasons, more and more usual, normal activities are becoming licensed, prohibited or otherwise controlled. The British legal tradition is that if it is not specifically forbidden, it is allowed. The “other” tradition is that if it is not specifically allowed, it isa illefgal.
Thunder Bay…$1,000 fine for selling cocaine…$5,000 fine for feeding a squirrel or a deer…
Now if you feed cocaine to a squirrel, does that mitigate or exacerbate the offence?
