  1. And here we are stuck in election mode – No result for three friggin’ weeks.
All we can hope is that The President has some patience left over, although I do wonder.
The other world leaders (except for china) are lining up to sign a deal.

  2. Graphic proof. Well ChiComada … you’ve made your choice. So please stop telling me how I’m being disrespectful to Canada. The only people who talk like that are high school “youths” who stab other high schoolers in the heart with the knives they carry just for that purpose.

    1. What choice was that exactly? Parliaments been shuttered for weeks. Nobody voted for this joker that was installed making all these wonderful trade ‘decisions’ on our behalf after Trudy got the boot.

      1. I think Kenji was referring to our choices of electing this communist government 3 times over the past 10 years,
If that’s so, I would tend to agree with his harsh assessment.

  3. The Liberal racist Party really is a subsidiary of the Communist Party of China.

What other explanation could there be? How many millions has Marx Carney pocketed from China?

    1. It sure looks like that doesn’t it.
And back at work all I will hear from 90 percent of my blue collar co workers is sht about Trump and directed in a way more personal way than during Covid, funny how people need you to think like them.
Not complaining, but people in their 50’s and older sure must not have paid attention all those years.
      Interesting times.

  4. Two Economic Powerhouses stand up to challenge Trump.

And I laughed and I laughed.

  5. If Canada doesn’t stand up for China against the US, then the economy of BC might collapse when all of the money laundering leaves.

And controlled collapse of the middle class has been on the menu of the liberals for a long time.

  6. Been wracking my brain for days trying to think of a Canadian product I can’t live without.

    1. Oil and gas. Softwood lumber. Some Ag. Not uniquely Canadian, but still should be instructive to people willing to learn.

  7. I found out that a certain organization I belong to won’t be going to an annual gathering in the U. S. this year. I think you can figure out what the reason is.

Yup, it’s gonna show those damn Yankees that we Canucks aren’t gonna be messed with. That’ll put the fear into Uncle Sam.

Have those clods learned nothing from the debacle of the 1980s Summer Olympics boycott?

  8. The EU has sort of weened themselves off Russian oil somewhat reflective of their stance with Ukraine. The EU has become more dependent upon the US for refined petroleum. 70% of US refineries are geared most efficiently for heavy crude. Canada produces sour heavy crude in abundance.

China has been increasing their ability to refine heavy crude significantly over the last decade.

I’m betting on agreements between Canada, the EU, and China that sends a significant amount of heavy crude to be refined in China (instead of the US) and distributed to the EU (and China). Part of the deal will include an ad hoc status for Canada in the EU (non-official) under the guise of a new CETA agreement. And, as a caveat, Canada will allow China exploration and mine ownership in the Arctic.

Sounds outlandish, but your soon to be new Prime Minster is in very deep with the EU, and China.

    1. That will require a new pipeline to serve Chinada’s boss.
Doesn’t look like Marx Carney wants new pipelines unless Brookfield can buy one.
We’ll see what the China masters of the Lieberals say.

      1. China will fund Canada’s belt of a pipeline and the roads which follow it. And the Indigenous peoples who interfere will be dealt with like Uyghurs.

        1. Made with Temu steel and some Chinese workers…at some point prior to that we may indeed need to step in and do something.

And the kicker will be that the Canadian taxpayer will pay for it eventually.

    2. The EU’s gas imports from Russia were still at one fifth their total imports. And Germany (the primary industrial center in the EU) has been having a bit of a difficult go of it. They will want your oil and gas at a minimum to make up the cost.
They’ve already come out and stated that they want Canadian resources, but that’s all they want. They don’t want you manufacturing anything (that’s where China can help you out; the wealthy can have ‘luxury’ EU goods of course because some pigs are more equal than others).
And of course they both will get to call the shots for you geopolitically — you’ll be their buffer, their flank to the big bad USA as well as their smuggling and money laundering hub. Sounds like a great time; it’s a wonderful life indeed.
And of course we can’t allow that.

      PS. watch gold

“The majority of Canadians have been centrist or left-wing since the rise of Pierre Elliott Trudeau. The only way Conservatives have ever won is when people were fed up with Liberal corruption (Mulroney/Harper) and when the Left was divided. The spectre of Trump, manifested in a hatred for Pierre Poilievre, has unified left-wing Canadians in a way we’ve never seen. Even Jean Chrétien, at the height of his political power, did not receive the percentage of the popular vote that is being predicted for Mark Carney’s Liberals.”

    1. We’ll see. NDP voters are loyal. Many of them will come home though it’s easy to understand their disdain for Meethead.
Plus, don’t discount the 20% of Lib leaning voters that were in favor of the Cons up until a couple months ago. That tide is slowly coming back to the Cons, hopefully just enough.
Most polls we are seeing are statistically “noise”, they are oversampling and undersampling strategically. All in favour of their Liberal benefactors.
The Liberals have no energy. That’s bad news for them. The Big MO is with the Cons.

    1. How’s blubber douggie doing? Like a bloated windsock: blowing in whichever direction the political breezes direct him.

    2. Doug is waiting for the next windstorm to wipe out electricity in Ontario so he can let those American bastards freeze in the dark.

  10. Looks like it’s our rulers’ interest to side with Chyna instead of looking out for the country.

  11. Why I support Poilievre —he speaks the truth!
Unfortunately Canadians are 60% left of center and are too stupid to realize simple truths like Trudeau’s Liberals in 9.5 years increased the national debt to 2,200,000,000,000 from 1,000,000,000,000! For the ignorant left in just over 9 years the Liberals increased our debt more than the 148 years before!
How can people be so stupid!
Even if by some miracle Poilievre wins —-Western Canada should separate !

  12. China’s puppet, Mark Carney was told by his puppet master to retaliate against the USA–and he obeyed. Carney isn’t a Laurentian elite (he’s more of a “globalist elite” educated at Harvard then at Oxford in the UK)–he’s a Manchurian marionette.

  13. 70 countries are licking Trump’s jackboots? That’s Fox and all the announcers have been goose stepped in and read the riot act. A lot of them who know where the tariff war ends must be getting a bit embarrassed. Fox is my favourite news and I’m even getting embarrassed for them. Don’t believe everything you see on Fox.
