  1. Did anybody mention the tip jar that they will need to shake in our face?.. Canadian doctors are like table dancers.. While I’m sure 10 000 democrat doctors want out.. I don’t think Canada is going to.. Fit the bill..

      1. That depends. If they worked at an HMO butcher’s block, or are struggling with the cost of malpractice insurance, they might just be willing to take their chances up north..

  2. Interest in coming to Canada is up. But once they find out what it entails, they’ll all back out.

    1. I really do not think interest is up very much, but it is a narrative that the media is pushing. Same with people cancelling travel to the US. Some are, of course, but the news media goes overboard in trying to make it into a huge story. CTV wanted to hear from people cancelling trips. Why? What about all the people still travelling to the US?

      1. Flair cancelled all their US routes and Air Canada and Westjet cancelled a lot of flights. It’s real.

        1. Is that because the Canadian dollar is sinking like a stone compared to the US$? When we pay nearly 50% more in Can$$ for products, services and entertainment the lure to spend our dollars in the US grows thin. Are the airlines cutting the bleeding before it causes their demise?
Friends just left for weeks in South America, our dollar goes so much further there. Good money chases the deals.

          1. I hate to say it, but for once, UnReal is right. The CAD peeked at $0.71 on the USD earlier today. It closed at just under $0.71.
But I would suggest that the spike is due to Trump’s liberation day. It’s a bump. The dollar will fall again soon enough.

FYI… Gold and Silver both took a beating today. Gold dropped about $100/oz from it’s recent record-breaking high the day before ($4371/oz). Silver lost $5.00 from it’s recent record-breaking high as well ($44.50/oz).
Again… bumps in the road. I fully expect both precious metals to regain their recent losses in short order.

I would also suggest to UnReal not to celebrate the USD’s decline too quickly. It’s short term pain. Once the US gets it’s own independent supply chains established, you can bet that the USD will rebound, and watch the CAD sink like a rock in a river.

      2. I would bet that “cancelling travel to the US” was happening before the media started looking at it, when the Canadian dollar started falling again from it’s high of $0.756 to it’s current range around $0.70, and the media didn’t care until it had it’s narrative to push.

    2. These doctors have no clue what they’d be getting into. They have no idea how good they have it, the Bobby Kennedy changes notwithstanding.

  3. Leftists should hold their breath waiting for the “surge” to get here…

  4. They seemed to have overlooked one of the primary reasons the US all of a sudden has an over-abundance of Dr’s. Illegal immigrants used E/R and hospital services for every day medical care. Any E/R would have a queue reflecting non-emergency care as a result. However, the law would require the hospitals and clinics to treat these people.

Staff at medical providers reflect the number of patients being seen. That patient number has dropped rather quickly in the last few weeks. Medical providers are now finding themselves overstaffed as a result.

Additionally, various states were providing medical coverage to these illegal immigrants. And, now that those numbers are decreasing significantly, the costs passed onto US citizens (both by state and federal taxes, and increased medical bills) are set to decrease.

This is the equivalence of having too much ice cream. 😀

  5. Take my Doctor … Please.

I freely release every one of my Hindu Doctors here in the USA. Something tells me they’d be happier to be among their people in Canada. Maybe then … I will be able to get a Doctor … “who looks like me”.

      1. She. They’re all She-indus. Because there aren’t enough patients in Mumbai … I guess.

  6. Oh, Canada
Please take our Communist doctors – all of them, please – Trump might even pay their airfare.

  7. Yep, those physicians with US $ med school debts are going to come to Canada to work for discounted dollars will find that they are capped. I recall the cap in Ontario used to be $400 K before paying their expenses. /s

    1. BC used to be only 250k before expenses now it’s 385. Out of that they have to pay office expenses.

  8. Note to US doctors contemplating the move: imagine working for a government run HMO that has one management tool – rationing. Or how about the VA with double the bureaucrats and much worse unions.

    1. Yup. Remove all restrictions and this country will drain as people move down there for weather and work. Only time it was the reverse was Vietnam.

  9. They talk about a surge of leftist immigration to Canada every time something doesn’t go their way. Going back to the 60’s.
I’ll believe it when I see it.

So far the only person with any balls has been Rosie O’Donnell

    1. “So far the only person with any balls has been Rosie O’Donnell”

      Ewwwwww… stop that!

  10. About 100-200 Canadian doctors move to the U.S. every year.
About 30-50 come to Canada from the U.S. each year.

      1. Once the idiots realize what it takes to move to Canada, and what life will be like in terms of increased taxes, reduced real wages, housing shortages, rationed single-payer “hell-th care,” and massive increases in crime in the city centers, how long do you think it will be before disillusionment sets in, and these people will go running back to the US?

  11. I have lived in Florida since 1989. Many of my best doctors were and are political refugees from Canada. All expressed the same sentiment that they wanted to live and thrive in a free market capitalist society and not a socialist Soviet gulag economy.

    1. Well America ain’t a free market capitalist society. Hasn’t been for some time and definitely isn’t anymore.

      1. Well under Biden, it was certainly heading to fascism. As Mussolini said in “The Doctrine of Fascism”. “If liberalism spells individualism, fascism spells government”. Cutting federal government spending, regulations, undue influence in State rights is the polar opposite of fascism. By the way, tariffs certainly don’t contribute to a “free market capitalist society” and that is what has been imposed on the U.S. for decades. Funny how it’s okay for other countries to impose tariffs against the U.S., but a response from the U.S. is a bad thing?

        1. The only party a country can tariff is itself.

“Well under Biden, it was certainly heading to fascism.”

No it was just headed to encrappification. Now the US is headed to or in fascism.

      2. Why do you think the Americans voted for Trump? UnReal!
It is so that America CAN RETURN to a free-market, capitalist society, when it was heading in the completely opposite direction under the Biden Administration.

        1. Because they are stupid, and don’t know what ‘free market capitalism’ even is, because they are stupid.

  12. How many of these are maid ‘doctors’ and abortionists, as well as trans surgery providers. Once you remove these plus the incompetent from the list that want to come to shitholistan, the list is likely very short. Canuckistan is doing the US a favor her by removing most of these.

  13. Stoner doctors with transgender children will all migrate to Canada; and won’t in the least resent the oppressive totalitarian government. You’re welcome to them.

  14. My brother’s a doctor. He’s actively looking for a way to move from Canada to the US. My anecdotal experience is that the flow of medical professionals south outnumbers those who come north.

    1. It appears that this story is as fake as the polls blaring Lieberals leading and on the verge of winning a majority government.
The polls just doesn’t line up with what I see happening on the ground.

  15. My ex brother in law, a top Canadian anesthesiologist, moved to the US. Why? Money. US doctors will be poorly disappointed in Canada.

    1. It’s all B.S. Just like the flaky actors who said they were going to leave the U.S. Almost all just yapping.

  16. On the bright side, Canada will have a far shorter wait time for y’all to get your breasts removed and your arm sausage roll installed down below.
Canada will be the new destination for pecker amputations. Need a new gash to fondle while dreaming of little boys?
All of our “special” doctors migrated north….
