  2. Not sure if TDSB is the worst, but I went in to my son’s school to have a chat with the principal. The
    school sends out weekly notes telling of which heritage/race/religion/etc is being embraced this month (never
    white Christian), they have a daily land acknowledgement, and set up racist centres of ‘excellence’.

    Bottom line, this comes from the Board, and they are powerless. I asked that he share my comments with
    the Board..

    I have also sent numerous emails to the Federal, Provincial and Municiple governments over the years with helpful suggestions and/or questions. Crickets, other than autoreply “we value your comments. blah blah”, and ‘get your COVID shot’.

    1. If you say the land acknowledgement daily, one day you will be giving the land back. Keep that in mind.

      1. As long as it was it goes back to the actual original first inhabitants. Since their oral history cannot really remember who that was, not happening.

    2. I realize it’s not economically feasible for most people but, sacrifice where you can. and never, never, ever send your children to public school.

  3. Where was that “Patriotism” when Canada was self-flagellating over the residential schools, destroying our history and branding the Canadian flag as an “extremist symbol”?

    The Liberals take us for idiots, but the pattern is clear.

      1. That didn’t stop Trudeau and his politboro/apparatchiks from branding it as such.

        I don’t really care about it myself. Just pointing out the hypocrisy.

  5. To what? Arafat Academy? Chavez Collegiate? Mao Secondary? Lenin High?
    We’ve let their unions make our teachers, who shouldn’t be along for the ride, teach irrelevant ideological idiocy.

    Along with woke weasel whining, but very careful to ensure that communication, math and science scores are abysmal, given good performance in that area is proof of systemic racism of some group requiring advocates.

    When I see the pure emotion at any mention of Trump, I genuinely fear for this nation’s continued existence.

    I’m not interested in a cabal of Quebec to Toronto nation builders picking a Trump trade war hill for us to die on, not them mind you, they think it’s their key to extended rule over us, and many out west won’t be staying for the wake.

  6. Friends nephews and nieces had to apologize to the natives in class, for being white I imagine. Lambton School Board.
    His brother sold his house , pulled the kids out of school and moved to Mexico.
    The Lambton School Board was one of the first to make native literature a requirement in grade 10 English if I’m not mistaken, and of course it’s about residential schools. And of course it’s a guilt trip, and what does it change?
    The irony is many natives I know think this country is screwed for the same reasons I do.

  7. Why do I suspect it won’t be too much longer before the brilliant woke apparatchiks who control Canada will find something racist with the name “Ontario”?!?

    President Trump should thus do them a favour and rename “Lake Ontario” to “Lake New York”!

    1. That might be a bridge too far for them. “Ontario” is derived from an Iroquois word meaning “sparkling water”. Quite appropriate for a province with so many lakes.

  8. Pierre Trudeau has several schools named after him for some reason. He famously tried to eliminate the so called indigenous people as a separate group, and eliminate reserves etc. A bit more of an attack than putting them in school no?

    1. A total shit show! My son graduated last year…. Now if only he can get through university unscathed!
