Fraud Squad- How Many Orders Can TIm Hortons Screw Up?
I went to 32 Tim Hortons TWICE to see how many orders they got wrong. I recorded everything. This video shows the breakdown of what the final stats were. Do you think this is a type of scam now that you’ve seen the data?
Funny enough, someone i know had 3 screw ups on the same order this morning.
First mistake was going to Tim’s.
Definition of insanity is repeating the same tests and expecting different results. 32 times is a whole new level of insanity (and poor taste).
I used to go to Tim Hortons every day, sometimes multiple times a day. Now I go once every few months if I’m on a road trip and there is nowhere else to stop. Its been more than twenty years since I was a regular. Two outlets in my town closed. They were in pretty rough parts of town, but if they were doing decent business they would have found a way to overcome that.
Tim Hortons used to have great coffee, I’d actually buy it in cans from their stores, somewhere in the 90s.
They’ve really fallen in customer service; of late only went a few times a year, mostly on road trips.
Then they got political over the shots – that was a big turn off.
Then they turned away a veteran friend of ours in Tweed ON. He’s from here, but has moved to Alberta, you’d think that a national store like TH’s would recognize service dogs paper work from another province – nope, denied service.
So we just don’t even consider doing Timmy’s anymore. Easier to make expressos at home.
We know it’s not Canadian owned or operated now.
Their recent commercials claiming it’s the same as it was in 1964… LOL.
30% error rate is not that bad, given the fact that most Tim’s employees have been on the job three days and don’t speak English.
At least the worst they can do is f- up your coffee. Try a CAA tow-truck driver that’s been on the job three days and doesn’t speak English. I had that guy today. Took four hours to move my truck, and I did half the work.
“30% error rate is not that bad, given the fact that most Tim’s employees have been on the job three days and don’t speak English. ”
I actually walked out of one in Surrey years ago because I could not understand a word the girl was saying to me, her Indian accent was so heavy. You would think that a reasonable command of the English language and the ability to speak it well enough to be understood would be a prerequisite for working the front counter, wouldn’t you?
“You would think that a reasonable command of the English language…”
Yeah, you would think that, but like me, you would also think the same about hiring a freaking tow truck driver. And we are both wrong. English? Why? Just put the guy in there, who cares what happens?
They do not care what happens. Bottom line.
How the hell do they get a license without a good command of the English language?
One by one the lights of civlization dim, then go out. And these days, not gradually. Suddenly.
Canadians are going to vote the Libs back in because we’re mad at the President of the U.S. who might have just been able to rescue us from Götterdämmerung if we would just stop being such stupid, insecure little siblings of an awesome other brother.
But we will instead go ungently into the night, stamping our feet and indulging in tantrums.
Tim Hortons’ decline is just a harbinger. Other beloved Canadian treasures have also sunk, and we’re almost done.
We’re going to re-elect Trudeau. You know we are.
I haven’t bought anything from Tim Hortons since I was new to Canada, squatted in the order line and left a log on the floor in one in Langley.
Now me and all the 17 family members that have joined me in Canada work for Tim Hortons.
Zero surprise considering very few Tim’s employees speak English. But mass immigration is good for the country. /sarc
This is really a first-world problem. May I suggest he invests in a coffee maker and a thermos?
You get the coffee you want and save money.
Expecting perfection from minimum wage employees is silly.
We used to get it.
Related and v. funny. And so true. Save for the accents.
Why I NEVER go to Tim’s aka Singh Horton’s

Tim’s devolution reminds of David Burge’s rules of how the left operates
1. Identify a respected institution.
2. kill it.
3. gut it.
4. wear its carcass as a skin suit, while demanding respect.
You can thank parenting and schooling for this fuk up, but my greater concern is piss poor CS at banks, auto insurance, government, bell , ontario hydro. And it’s full DEI, and has been for many years now,bc home grown kids aren’t motivated to work. Parents and schools have coddled kids for too long now.
Where do you get the idea that homegrown kids aren’t willing to work from? The fact of the matter is there aren’t that many home grown kids and they get kicked to the back of the line because “diversity”. My kid applied for 70 jobs last summer, had two interviews and finally got a job. His mates were the same. Go look for a job sometime and see the number of jobs that say in not so fine print that white men need not apply.
The only thing Canadian about Tim Horton’s is the crap product and the crap service.
I remember going to Tim Horton’s a couple of years ago and ordered a small coffee, just cream. And that was exactly what I got, a cup of just cream. I’ve never been back since.
How Many Orders Can TIm Hortons Screw Up?
All of them?
The scary thing is it ain’t rocket science! I’ve experienced order screw ups over the years too at the
drive through! No wonder our GDP per capita is crapping out!
Well, I must live in a good place, a small town in NB. We love our Tim Hortons, great service, no screw ups. Then again, about three quarters of the employees are white. The rest mostly Asian. Just saying.
I’m no Horton’s fan. Never liked the bitter coffee and the heat and eat food.
Besides that it’s owned by a Brazilian company.
I gave up being a regular Tim’s drinker when 7 out of 10 medium coffee with 2 milk orders would always be double double.
The pizzas and other food items are quite good. I love their chili and buy it canned in the grocery stores.
McDonald’s not any better for correct orders, thankfully they have the order kiosks. But, when I am waving the rather large table service number, quit calling my receipt number for me to come pick it up at the counter……..
This “out-sourcing” thing has gotten way out of hand. Nobody accepts responsibility or accountability for anything anymore and that (sadly) includes their own victimhood. Must be the egregore… or something.
Comments here are uninformed and brainwashed.
Disappointing really, SDA usually could be counted on for critical thinking. Hit and miss now.
