  1. If the government had any f’en brains they would leave Netflix etc available and fire those stupid enough to watch it at work! But if course you can’t fire any government dog f*@kers ever.

      1. Why would they work at home when they do not “work” at work?

Or, is “working from home” the new “unemployed”?

Falsification of time-sheets, “treeware” and electronic, is FRAUD. If someone committing FRAUD CANNOT be ” let-go” by their employers, there is a SERIOUS problem.

Unauthorized use of a “work” computer and or network, is, functionally the SAME as unauthorized use of a work vehicle, office materials, etc. in ANY workplace. The key word is “unauthorized” . If the boss says it will be OK if you borrow a company vehicle for a day or two, then it is likely ON THE HEAD of that boss, be they public or private, if the vehicle is damaged, stolen, etc.

An employee “borrowing” company equipment to hire out for cash? That is FRAUD. Fraud is criminal breach of trust. See also: THEFT.

        1. Federal employees are merely bought and paid for liberal voters. Now they can vote from home.
The ‘work’ is done by consultants, who are also bought and paid for liberal voters.
Their propaganda is broadcasted via the bought and paid for legacy media, and consumed by the low info CBC friends.
They are legion, which is why Carney may have a chance.

    1. L- “…work from home. “. Might that home even be e.i. India, the Middle-East, Africa…?
If so that could free up some housing demand and lower prices here. Also, if they went on
some sort of a protest for a foreign cause or for being fired for cause. The police in their
home country could … and at their home countries expense.

  2. Gee, it only took them 15 years to come up with that policy????
As a former telco insider, I would consider that this policy came into effect for not so obvious reasons. It wasn’t strictly because of “wasting time” watching Netflix. It very likely had to do with overloading the VPN and network servers, as Netflix causes excessive server load and bogs down networks.
My former telco had dedicated servers, to divert and handle only Netflix streams, such is the network load.
So, no, the Corpse isn’t mindful of wasted time and personnel resources, it’s hardware resources being wasted. But, is anyone really watching the Corpse and it’s pathetic programming online?

  3. “YouTube, Facebook and other social media sites will remain available for government workers.”

so they can still watch videos and waste time, just not on netflix or other streamers…

  4. Now they can get back to what they used to use government computers for:

    Porn.

  5. Ah, the good old days, when they first removed solitaire and minesweeper off of PCs, in the late 90s, then web browsing, except for approved sites, like the CBC, early in the 21st century.
