    3. It is my understanding from another news article that All-State and State Farm Insurances (who held 50% and over of the policies) cancelled the insurance policies on December 23, 2024 as they were both pulling out of California. I could be wrong.
      On my insurance policy (Regina, Saskatchewan), it does not cover “acts of God” – wildfires, earthquakes and tornadoes. You take your chances and do a bet with the insurance company. I wonder if the insurance policies in Southern California also have an “Acts of God” cancellation clause?

    4. the “Insurer of last resort” for Fire Insurance supposedly only has 50% of what’s required in it’s fund.

  3. Minor pet peeve. Can we knock it off with the term ‘wildfires’? These are built-up towns, neighborhoods and cities. Over 10K buildings destroyed and other than the complete incompetence of all the people and agencies whose only job it was is to prevent this from happening, it appears all of these fires were deliberately set.

    1. Wildfires would be a perfect method of creating terrorism. Much easier and easier to get away with than driving a half ton down Bourbon Street.

  4. Let me guess, hydrants&reservoirs STILL have no water. Because gov + mayor + fire chief etc are doing damage control for themselves, not for LA.
    Everything for avoiding even the suggestion there was incompetence and criminal negligence.

  5. Who’s to say this isn’t intentional? Reminds me of the Maui fires…same jaw dropping incompetence and carpetbaggers swooping in when all is done to buy up cheap real estate.
    And I’m with Cernovich on this point – “Shoot to kill” on all arsonists and looters. Make a cherry pie out of an arsonist’s face and other miscreants will fall in line pretty quickly.

    1. 100% arsonists are involved. Climate change doesn’t start fires. A@@hole antifa and queer militant punks and general troublemakers start fires. Mother Nature is just helping them finish off LA with the winds.

      The likes of Newscum, Bass, etc and all who support them are getting it good and hard. Very unfortunate because LA and SoCal are(were) nice places to visit.

      1. Isn’t it interesting how these fires ALL magically get started when the winds start blowing … ideal fire spreading conditions. And lest you tell me it must be power lines blown down … let me remind you I’ve lived here in CA for all my 69 years and believe it or not, high winds are nothing new … but they never used to magically start fires until quite recently.

        Yes, the arsons know how to have their fires create maximum damage.

        But worry not … the FBI and ATF … those fine folks who still can’t find the Jan. 6 pipe bomber are assisting the LGBTQueer LAFD investigating the cause of the fires.

    1. The fact that the legacy media is not interested at all in discussing the cause of these fires tells you everything you need to know about who is responsible. My guess is antifa scum posing as homeless. I’ve seen speculation that South American gangs are responsible so that they can swoop in and rob evacuated homes. I saw a pic of an SUV with Arkansas plates being driven by two South American types who were driving through an evacuated area, saying that they were “just checking on their homes”. Right.

  8. Read in news reports that the budget of the LAFD is about 800 million dollars, the cut was about 18 million dollars.
    In the big scheme of things, that is not of enormous significance.
    The question that should be asked what happened to the 800 million.
    Why is nobody asking?
    Why is there no audit?
    Maybe that would be too simple, people could understand and point to the corruption and neglect, complete disregard for other peoples money.
    Make no mistake, there were greased hands in every department, this of course is a common practice where the low life scum politicians are involved.
    Keeping it complicated with word salads of all sorts, there is great fracturing of attention that is about as destructive of comprehension as nothingness.

  12. The NY Post and other publications talk about the rich elites being angry with the State and Municipality. Yes they are.
    But, as I have been saying, it’s not anger for gross incompetence or mismanagement. It’s not anger for wasting the budget on DEI training courses rather than emergency preparedness or hiring unqualified individuals to meet some strange anti-White man hiring quota. No, the rich elites are angry because more wasn’t done to combat climate change.
    The elite are wealthy despite their lack of possessing two or more active brain cells to rub together. These rich idiots will parrot the climate cult talking points ad nauseam.

    Its important in these times to remember that you cant build a CCP style “smart city” without destroying the one that already exists. Just sayin.
