Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

What They Say About SDA
"Smalldeadanimals doesn't speak for the people of Saskatchewan" - Former Sask Premier Lorne Calvert
"I got so much traffic after your post my web host asked me to buy a larger traffic allowance." - Dr.Ross McKitrick
Holy hell, woman. When you send someone traffic, you send someone TRAFFIC.My hosting provider thought I was being DDoSed. - Sean McCormick
"The New York Times link to me yesterday [...] generated one-fifth of the traffic I normally get from a link from Small Dead Animals." - Kathy Shaidle
"You may be a nasty right winger, but you're not nasty all the time!" - Warren Kinsella
"Go back to collecting your welfare livelihood." - Michael E. Zilkowsky
And boosted Mark Carney’s.
The stupid morons of this dumb-a$$ “country” will return to the liarberal party with the new leader with the exact same policy’s but a less punchable face.
The even stupider people of Alberta and Saskatchewan will bend over and say “please sir, may I have another”
Whuh? Because Albertans and Saskatchewanians are such strong LPC supporters?
Ummm. No.
I am simply lamenting the fact that much of the success that the liarberal party has enjoyed has been by attacking the West. Alberta and Saskatchewan in particular. This most certainly will not change under any new liarberal leader and may in fact intensify as they do whatever they can to hang on to power. (Their sole concern)
For some reason, we (collectively) in the West can’t come to the conclusion that candaduh is built entirely on exploiting us for the enrichment of the center despite the years and years of evidence, and that we would be better off on our own (Or, by most certainly being the 51st and 52nd)
Alberta (mostly) and Saskatchewan suffer from abused spouse syndrome. Too scared to go so stay and get kicked around some more.
Sure seems that way. Probably the best way to describe it.
Does anyone care that SweatHog got stepped on?.. This speech was sickening to watch. He is a legend in his own mind, for sure.
First Freeland and now Trudeau, this is the saddest day in Canadian history for Yaroslav Hunka and Colonista to be sure!

“Justin Trudeau just killed Chrystia Freeland’s leadership campaign?”
Does anyone now care what mister shoe polish thinks?
Freeland got an ovation from the Liberal caucus after she resigned from cabinet.
I think she has more support amongst Liberals than most people realize.
This is not an endorsement of Frau Freeland.
I wonder if she will promise the Liberal caucus that with her at the helm that they can have a Liberal dynasty that will endure for a thousand years?
I saw what you did there.
She is easily their best bet unless a magician steps up.
The results of the leadership contest may depend on:
a) how many people Xi can get to join the party
b) the paleosimian vote.
There’s a case to be made for taking advantage of the Liberal Party’s lax membership rules. Buy a membership and vote for the next leader. Might as well have actual tax paying Canadians being involved in the Liberal leadership race. We know foreigners and global organizations will be interfering and trying to get their leadership candidate elected.
BTW, getting a Liberal Party membership is free so you would in no way be supporting their election campaign. Getting a membership and voting in the leadership campaign might make the difference between having a Liberal leader who is beholden to globalists/foreign governments and Canadian organized crime syndicates -or- a Liberal leader who at least somewhat supports Canadian interests.
Lieberals and Dippers do that to Conservatives, federally and provincially, all the time. Thats how the previous two CPC leaders got in. So why do Conservatives, like me, puke at the prospect? We definitely need a paradigm shift here.
Yeah, the thought of joining the Liberal Party induces a gag reflex, especially for old Reform Party members like myself. But, making sure the Liberal Party doesn’t elect another scumbag, batshit crazy, foreign controlled zealot is good for Canada and the Liberal Party. The Liberal Party needs a thorough house cleaning to get rid of all the parasites plaguing Canada through the Liberal Party.
Hopefully, someone will stand for nomination that isn’t part of the globalist agenda or various corporate/criminal syndicates.
This is what a smart right would do. A smart right would not babble about ‘globalists’ however.
Such a thing does not exist.
Yep, Trudeau threw another female Liberal MP under the bus and drove over her. OTOH, Freeland 100% deserves being tied to Trudeau’s sinking ship because she supported him and his agenda for years. She nodded and smiled and clapped like a trained seal, just like the rest of the Liberal government MPs.
I doubt that anyone who sat in Trudeau’s government has any chance of pretending to be a fresh face, new beginning for the Liberal Party of Canada. That includes Carney too because he was the Liberal’s economic advisor. Then again, one should never underestimate the stupidity and gullibility of central and eastern Canadian voters.
Don’t forget western voters. Saskatchewani cities recently voted pretty solidly NDP.
Tommy Douglas wasn’t wrong – there’s lots of subnormality out west.
I have no excuses for Saskatoon and Regina voting for the provincial NDP. City living does something to your thinking. Thankfully voters outside of the 2 big cities aren’t so foolish.
To be fair though, the Saskatchewan NDP are very different from the federal NDP and federal Liberal Party. All are fiscally incompetent but the level of corruption and hypocrisy at the federal level are orders of magnitudes worse. For example, the provincial NDP supported removal of the Trudeau carbon tax on home heating and previous NDP provincial governments opposed the federal equalization formula.
The NDP is one party. Read the provincial constitutions. They all answer to the Federal. If Jughead says so, the provincial party leaders will do as told. It is only for expediency to let the provincial party pretend autonomy.
Not in practice. Saskatchewan NDP have repeatedly voted against Singh’s agenda. I get the feeling they can’t stand him either.
The original NDP had it’s birth in the rural prairies as a protest party supporting farmers, miners, labourers, ordinary families etc. Singh’s NDP are dominated by radical activists, rich urban champagne socialists and government unions – people who despise rural folk and blue collar families. The only similarity between the founders and Singh is a socialist/communist bent.
City folk tend to have money, brains, and culture. They care about ideas. Conservatives are too dumb to deal in serious ideas and city folk aren’t interested in the God Guns Gay-bashing ways that Republicans turned to in the late ’90s hence they lost almost every local government starting back then.
“City folk tend to have money, brains, and culture”
Those the City folk foaming at the mouth with a syringe stuck in their arm? Maybe you mean those City folk riding mass transit with the pasty sick faces dreaming away their rides of the day they’ll get out of their shitty little apartments once the divorce thing settles. LOL “City folk”.
Cool story bro. Yes, those people on the mass transit are indeed more likely to have money and intellect than the rural folk.
Yea ok if you say so Bro…………heh “City folk”

For what it’s worth, this is CTV’s current best-guess shortlist of possible leadership contenders: Chrystia Freeland, Mélanie Joly, Cristy Clark, Maurice “Mom” Boucher, Randy Boissonnault, Dominik Leblanc, Mark Carney, Pablo Rodriguez, André-Philippe Gagnon, Elvis Gratton, and Lucky Luciano Jr,
Heck, “Mom” Boucher is the best of the lot, especially since he’s dead.
That will be a definite advantage for him, but apparently his dead English isn’t very good.
If the late Mom Boucher becomes the leader, will the Hell’s Angels become the official government mascot?
I suggest Doug the Pug!
Abigail Jackson, deputy chief of staff and communications director for Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO), said Trudeau’s resignation as prime minister “makes sense because you can’t be Prime Minister when you’re Governor.”
