  1. I’m pleased that the spoof begins with one who is associated with New Brunswick and not taking lightly to being annexed into the USA. Hopefully the USA leaves the entirety of the Atlantic provinces and their intergenerational welfare recipients outside the new North American entity of states which are united.

I’ll forever remember their response to covid madness being the point at which their gov’t of the day allowed grocery stores to prohibit non vaxed people from purchasing goods. It’s exactly what I think of when I see those N.B. license plates on vehicles which venture westward to our “mostly” free lands.

It’s no surprise that the people of New Brunswick, given near unlimited federal funding, were unable to build anything constructive or useful with the Canadian Gun Registry.

A province of dunces, and worthy of ridicule, and their flag is ugly.

  2. This Albertan is completely ambivalent about the whole idea. Canada is not worth supporting and the US is not worth joining.

  3. The question isn’t about the US annexing Canada.
The question is what Ottawa (to the chagrin of Quebec) would offer to Alberta to not join the US?

Ok it’s a rhetorical question we know how Ottawa will respond

    1. Whether they know it or nor, Ottawa needs Alberta. Alberta, on the other hand, would thrive w/o Ottawa.

      1. Alberta has been poisoned by socialism and immigration like the rest of Canada. I don’t see much hope of them ever separating.

    2. Just think of the savings/agro we will save not having to translate to croak, every damn thing.

    3. “The question isn’t about the US annexing Canada.

Playing a version of the Quebec game.

  4. Trump won’t annex debt, liability and unfunded liability. The US has way too much of that. Canada would be a non starter for DOGE.

You can buy whatever you want, from Canada, for a fair market price now. Why own the extra headache?

    1. “Trump won’t annex debt, liability and unfunded liability. The US has way too much of that.”

Indeed. US federal debt alone is at USD 36 trillion. They’ve got problems.

  5. Except for Quebec, which controls the entire country, Canada has turned into a ‘confederacy of dunces’.

  6. Perhaps if AB/Sask. separate and join the USA, with a bit more negotiating with tier 2 Canada the USA will finally make the continental USA into the contiguous USA with a path through northern BC/Yukon.

Will the new North American Amtrak to Anchorage AK be built through AB alongside the new northern interstate? or through Sask.?

How will tier 2 Canada get its Chinese made garbage imported to Ontario? Do they know how far away the Panama Canal is? Or the American Canal Zone through the country formally known as Panama / Gran Colombia? What if Colombia wants its part of Panama back?
What will BC do with all that excess port capacity in Vancouver?
Will I be able to qualify for a mortgage in New Vancouver after this crapshow is complete?
Will my mortgage interest be deductible? Will gasoline be sold by the gallon again?
Will I never, ever, hear the term, “NDP” again? Will the new federal gov’t in DC have to promise to continue tax credits for newspapers we don’t read, for radio news we don’t listen to, for Tv we rarely watch? Will I be able to post idiocies on Failbook which link to newsworthy items? Will I be able to buy a “repeater” gun again? Do the Canadian authorities know how many dust covered guns I’ve seen resting for +2 decades on top of residential basement HVAC ductwork?
