The increase was recorded across countries where assisted dying and euthanasia is legal, including the Netherlands, Belgium, and the US states of California and Oregon. In Canada, an estimated one in 25 people who died last year were legally killed.

And yet, these same countries and states have all forbidden the death penalty for murderers, rapists and terrorists. The hypocrisy is simply astonishing.
… and the Menendez Bro’s. weren’t put to permanent sleep after shotgunning mom and dad in the face while they were sitting on the couch. So now … Erik ‘discovered’ a letter sent to a (now dead) relative describing “sexual abuse” of the boys … the kind of thing the LGBTQueers want to normalize … and so Gavin Newsom wants to set them free. And apparently the Menendez fortune is large enough to hire Mark Geragos to defend the “boys”. And they even have Kim Kardashian in their corner. Next thing you know … Kardashian will be meeting with President Trump … begging to free the “boys”
I’ve told this story before, but my next door neighbor of many years killed himself in his garage. Yep. He sealed up his garage … turned on his 1971 VW Bug … and went to permanent sleep. He was reasonably healthy for being in his late 70’s, but his wife had been put in long term care. He was mainly upset that his youngest daughter had moved to North Carolina.
So he posted little notes all over his house with real nasty messages outlining all the disappointments his children had caused him. His son in law discovered his body, and the notes. His son in law wasn’t saddened that he killed himself … but angry … fuming angry that he had left all these hurtful messages upon his death.
Oh? Did I mention that he was an avowed liberal communist who openly mocked God … and had signed pictures of Hillary Clinton all over his house from all the money he’d donated to HER. Yes, a total leftist who once told me that he’d end his life on HIS terms, not God’s or nature’s … because HE was in control of HIS own death as surely as HE was in control of HIS life. No one in his family has a fond memory of him anymore … as THEY are in CONTROL of THEIR own thoughts … as colored by his final departure.
The slippery slope became the playbook.

Socialists learned from their 20th century idols that operating death camps was hard, expensive, slow and prone to unpleasantness resulting from revolts of the inmates. Then at some planning session one of them piped up with, “instead of killing them, what if we just convince them to kill themselves instead?”
We are seeing End Stage Socialism.
