47: Tulsi to DNI, Gaetz to AG

How it started: Republican Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (R-HI) is speaking out after the Biden Administration quietly put her on the Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) terrorist watchlist.

How it’s going: President-elect Trump announced Wednesday that he had chosen Tulsi Gabbard as Director of National Intelligence.

Woah. Matt Gaetz, of Florida, is hereby nominated to be The Attorney General of the United States

There is no joy in Swampico tonight.

  1. Great choice for DNI!

    And on Truth Social
    @realDonaldTrump

It is my Great Honor to announce that Congressman Matt Gaetz, of Florida, is hereby nominated to be The Attorney General of the United States. Matt is a deeply gifted and tenacious attorney, trained at the William & Mary College of Law, who has distinguished himself in Congress through his focus on achieving desperately needed reform at the Department of Justice.

Progressive heads exploding left and right.
Anyone else humming Slim Whitman tunes?

  2. I’m gonna die laughing at these appointments. For the best one yet, he should appoint Ted Nugent as director of the BATF..

    1. Is there a National version of New York State’s Department of Environmental Conservation? Nugent should head that Dept. I assume Ted would favor bow hunting for ground squirrels … but would also embrace making them pets … if that’s the way you swing. Ted has a game preserve on his land … preserved for hunting and killing. That’s the way of the natural environment … if you haven’t been raised by Disney

      1. Gaetz? Holy crap! I posted earlier asking if everyone is ready for all the truth to come out on a COVID piece, but now, a whole lot of truth will be coming out.

      2. Wait! Isn’t Gaetz a Mormon child molester!? Isn’t that what the FBLie and the DOJ were trying to frame him with … to shut his mouth? I look forward to an explosive Senate confirmation Hearing. Every confirmation will be a case of Redenbacher!

  3. The entire TSA watchlist program needs review to ensure only those people who are truly a physical threat get put on the program, and that even those people have recourse to due process.

      1. Don’t forget Eric Swallowswell … who dated (read: fkcued) a Chinese Communist spy … he needs to be Subject A of the surveillance State

  4. To the best of my knowledge, Tulsi Gabbard is the first citizen from Hawaii who has been appointed to a senior cabinet position within the US government. It will be interesting to see how many rats flee the ship now.

A bit of fire and brimstone on the Deep State would be a fine thing indeed.

“For My eye will have no pity on you, nor will I spare you, but I will bring your ways upon you, and your abominations will be among you; then you will know that I am the Lord!” (Ezekiel 8:18)”

  5. There are many people currently in the swamp who are the most they’ve ever been at risk if having their questionable behavior exposed and may be thinking it’s best they leave the country soon to avoid legal consequences. The question they face is, where is a safe and comfortable harbor? How many countries don’t have an extradition treaty with the USA?

    1. It kinda feels like a rejuvenated 2016.
Back then, Trump did some great stuff (the most imp was the supreme court nominations), but he didnt realize just how deep the rot was. And we all know how they hit him with every sucker punch known to man.

It feels like he now knows the system inside and out, and is fully ready to fix it all.

      Fingers crossed!

  6. Nice, although Tulsi’s “fire in the gut” is for the military; she would probably do an awesome job as SecDef.

      1. That’s why we need to be breathing down the government’s neck and watching its every move. But that’s more work than most of us are willing to do.

        1. Mike, Tooner, Thomas Jefferson agreed with you more than 250 years ago.

“When the people are afraid of the government, that’s tyranny. But when the government is afraid of the people, that’s liberty.”

And I agree with you that it’s hard work. Same author:

“The tree of Liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.”

  7. The Dems and the NeoCons are going to love Matt Gaetz. Perfect choice. If Wiilie Nelson was a Republican he would be a perfect director of the DEA. Tulsi also gets to ask, in person, why she was on the terror watch list. Trump has a great sense of humour.

    1. Love Gaetz. But he may have a hard time being confirmed by the Senate. There will definitely be Republicans who won’t vote for him. Susan Collins already said she won’t. But I’ m certain Trump has backup plans

      1. Donald Trump has had ages to weigh the pros and cons, background checks, what are the odds for so-and-so, and yup, a backup plan that the naysayers may be even MORE unhappy with.

man oh man l am so cranked up right now!!!

    2. the approach l would take, is the macarthy method.
tell us everything you know about what other people are involved in. you dont need to know all they do, just what are their areas of involvement. and likewise yourself.
this will expedite the investigation which DC brain came up with the scheme to harass Ms Gabbard. you will be allowed a minimum chance(s) to augment your declaration but you better provide FULL DISCLOSURE TRANSPARENCY every time best you can. look over YOUR records see who you talked to about what and who else. we have the software utility ready to create the full cross reference.
and build a chain of command chart and track down the brain that first hatched the idea.
      thats step 1.
step 2 expose them to the entire nation.

  8. I look forward to mass self-deportation of the Swamp Creatures of the Lefty Lagoon … who have turned this country into a D-Rated Sci Fi matinee. They came from the swamp … and they’ve evacuated the Swamp. Aiiiiiieeeeeee!!! Run for your lives.

  9. Real estate prices in Washington DC will be dropping like a rock. If your social security number is odd, you are gone. It’s a beautiful thing

  10. Like the appointments, especially those latest two.
Love the DeMarxist and Demmedia head explosions.
They sound worried, maybe with good reason given the AG choice.
Remember how they went after Gaetz?

  11. Not sure about a sitting house republican getting pulled to serve the administration when they have such a slim majority in the house. Hopefully whoever the republicans run to replace Gaetz wins.

    1. Gaetz was re-elected with 66.05% of votes cast.
I noted that too as I think its an important factor for anyone appointed to the Admin from Congress and the razor thin majority there
Rubio’s Senate replacement to fill his remaining 2 years will be appointed by Governor DeSantis

    2. The election to replace Gaetz will be over and done with before Trump gets sworn in.

Not sure about the NY one

  12. Not too many people noticing what has transpired in the last few weeks but it is interesting to note that the Harris campaign was pushed by Hollywood while Trump’s campaign was pushed by business and policies. I don’t think there is enough beer and popcorn in America for the entertainment that is about to begin!

    1. The Epstein list and P Diddy’s list will be in Trump’s possession. Not a happy prospect for the degenerates of Hollywood.

  13. The cabinet appointments so far are absolutely LIT!

As in, all the heads of hair in the deep state are on FIRE!

Looking forward to Hegseth firing all the cross-dressing lipstick-wearing whackjob mil leaders. The morale of the US military is about to see a huge boost!

    1. Kash Patel will effing DISMANTLE the leftist moles burrowed into the FBLie. Best for 80% of the FBLie to take an early pension buyout. Beat it! Beat it! Don’t make have TO repeat it!

  14. in the USA you can go across party lines for cabinet posts

Pete Buttigeig for the department of putting things in your bum

time in the navy , cabin boy jokes abound

  15. Isn’t that normal for the chiefs of staff to be let go and new handpicked ones to take their place?

    1. It is also normal (in the non-governmental world) for heads to roll and jobs to be lost after a debacle like the Afghanistan withdrawal. None of the tenured generals have lost their jobs over that calamitous display of incompetence.
      Yet.

  16. After what Trump endured at the hands of Democrats during his first term, I expect the next 4 years to be the “No Mercy Presidency.”

  17. To the victor go the spoils of war.
    And it is a war

Trump is employing a combat principle when dealing with the left.
When you have them down with your foot on their throat, do not lift your foot until they surrender.
The dems have admitted they lost a battle but they still intend to continue hostilities.
    This fight isn’t over.
Trump is situating his assets and giving them specific goals with timelines.
When they are all in place (confirmed) the plan will go into execution.
Please note that the nominations getting the most outrage from the usual suspects are the ones they fear, the ones they say very little about are the ones they fear the most.
My expectation is that on the day Trump assumes executive authority there are a lot of denizens in DC that are getting their security clearance revoked.
