We’re Not Wrong If We Don’t Look

What is it that they say about assumptions?

Blacklock’s- Ignored Immigration Impacts

…an internal report admits it took no steps to determine if foreign workers took Canadian jobs or kept wages low. “Impacts are not monitored,” said the report.

“The program is built on the assumption that benefits to Canada from the facilitation of select foreign workers exceed any potential harm to the domestic labour market,” said the Evaluation Of The International Mobility Program. “However document review and key informants pointed out that labour market impacts are not monitored.”

  1. About 20 years ago when my daughter was a teenager, somebody in every restaurant we entered asked her if she wanted a job. Now every low pay job in town is Filipino and Canadian kids have a hard time getting those important first jobs. To get foreign employees, every single business lies to Canadian Immigration saying no Canadians every apply. They want to pay kid’s wages to grown ups so they don’t have to put up with kids. It is 21st Century slavery.

  2. Hmmmm, what does this remind me of? Yet another poorly thought out decision made by so-called “well educated” people who are incapable of anything beyond First Step Thinking.

    Here are some top-of-mind examples:
    – The ENTIRE Covid policy of the Trudeau regime
    – Trudeau’s Carbon Tax policy
    – The policy of making things “safer” for drug addicts by giving them everything to stay permanently high

In ALL cases, all 4 of these policies have been UTTER FAILURES and caused soooo much harm to so many people.

  3. The Liberals knew what would happen with uncontrolled low-skill immigration, that’s why they didn’t monitor. The Liberals were also warned by bureaucrats that massive immigration would create housing problems but the government ignored the warnings.

The Trudeau Liberal government has failed in almost every primary federal government responsibility:

    -defense/military
    – border security/immigration
    – federal debt/deficit
    -national unity
-timely processing of federal documents (ex.passports)
    -international trade and diplomacy
    -election integrity/foreign interference
-the justice system is unable to protect against any type of crime or cross border smuggling operations and certainly does not protect citizens by keeping dangerous offenders in jail
    – banking integrity (ex. money laundering)
    – protecting constitutional rights (freezing bank accounts, illegal use of emergencies act)

It’s just failure after failure on core federal responsibilities. We’d probably be better off with no federal government than this incompetent bunch.

    1. You’re not looking at this right, LC Bennet. From a Marxist point of view, it’s been nothing but success after success after success.

  4. It has been Decided, by the Experts, that immigration is a net-good, and beneficial to the country. Any attempt to check, to see if that is actually true, would be seen as a sign of disrespect to Those who Decide.

The little minions are very careful not to anger Those who Decide with inconvenient facts.

Which explains why socialism fails, every single freaking time. “Test to see if its working? Insane! You can’t do that, they’ll hang us all! Shut up and never say that again!!!”

The truth is that A) they know it doesn’t work and B) they’re doing it to destroy the country. Beggars are easier to control than free men. And isn’t it funny how much less tinfoil-hat that sounds this year?
