The House Judiciary Committee is examining a whistleblower report that the FBI targeted Donald Trump soon after he announced his presidential campaign in June 2015, an off-the-books operation ordered by FBI Director James B. Comey that predated the Crossfire Hurricane operation.
An FBI agent involved in the probe revealed the off-the-books criminal investigation on Tuesday in a protected disclosure sent to the committee.
The whistleblower disclosure said two female FBI undercover agents infiltrated Mr. Trump’s 2016 campaign at high levels and were directed to act as “honeypots” while traveling with Mr. Trump and his campaign staff on the trail.[…]
The agent “personally knew” that Mr. Comey ordered an FBI investigation against Mr. Trump and that Mr. Comey “personally directed it,” according to the disclosure.
The off-the-books investigation did not appear to target a specific crime but was more of what agents would describe as a fishing expedition to find something incriminating about Mr. Trump.
So, I guess they didn’t find anything incriminating. How about that.
And, they have been looking for nine years.
The goal with those two women was to lay the ground work for the FISA warrants and their ongoing re-approval. Trump wasn’t their target. His staff was. All they needed was some suspicion on someone like a Carter Page or a George Papadopolis(sic)…and then they go to the FISA Court…get a warrant…then exponentially expand the surveillance to each and everyone that their real targets contacted. It’s how Trump’s phones ended up getting bugged etc.

It is pretty clear that the U.S. federal government is as corrupt as any on the planet. Hopefully Trump does get elected and Musk tears the federal government to pieces. The same would be a good idea for the Canadian federal government.

He torpedoed Hillary’s candidacy, after initially saving her on her homebrew server, then Weinertopped her.
He then tried to torpedo Trump with several illegal acts (only alleged because untested) and abuse of trust.
There’s nobody anywhere, in any party, who would shed a single tear if this miscreant megalomaniac were jailed.

Then after all the years of applying yourself academically, your hard work in the gym and all the miles of running, you make it into the “fabled” Bureau. Your first assignment, ordered by no less than the Director himself, is to infiltrate the staff of the Republican candidate for president, ingratiate yourself with the high-ranking men. Then have sex with them in order to get information that can damage the campaign.
