Op-Ed: Deidra Garyk: Reflecting on the 2024 Lloydminster Heavy Oil Show: A Celebration of Community and Innovation

In Pipeline Online’s quest to ensure we all know EXACTLY what the feds are telling us on energy, I have a series of press releases from this week, which I’ll post over the weekend.

  1. If you saw fireworks on Monday before the show it was a send off for Larry Olynyk, a pioneer of sorts from Lloydminster.
Larry did fireworks shows across northern Sask.

  2. Why do you waste so much time here posting stuff on matters that very few read or understand?

    Invest your time more wisely.

    1. Brian has more inside information on O&G and the energy and utilities industries than anyone I’ve ever seen. Untold billions of taxpayer dollars are invested in energy, much of it wasted, and we’re very lucky to have someone as knowledgeable as Mr. Zinchuk revealing ‘how the sausage is getting made’. For those of us paying attention, he’s a treasure.

Reading your comment reminded me how the government can sell Canadians a mirage like ‘free healthcare’ or climate change and have them fall for it every time. It’s because dumb Canucks aren’t even a little curious about the inner workings of our largest industries and the government’s relationship with them.
