  1. The answer my friend, is blowin’ in the wind, the answer is blowin’ in the wind!

  2. Because it can’t be natural variation. Must be humans, or once in a million stellar clouds

  3. No more of a stretch than the ‘big bang’.
    P.S.
Today there are people and money looking for ways to block the sun to save the earth.

      1. Not if you stop assuming that red shift is due to the Doppler effect.

Admit it, Ne’redowell, it is a gigantic assunption.

        1. Except that red/blue shift due to doppler effect has actually been measured in labs, with the sun, etc, and no other way of shifting spectra has ever been observed.
Also, the CMB is evidence, as well.

  4. .
    I’m working on a stand-up routine … Here goes …

These assholes er I mean scientists with ‘beliefs’ must have gotten that ‘cosmic cloud’ info from Wikipedia …. no other place is dumb enough to propose this sci fi fantasy without a shred of proof.
Everyone knows that that last Ice Age ended due to millions of Bison farts warming the climate.
They have since been replace by humans and cows ….. However, the giant asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs and mastodons made it all possible.

Bison and dinosaurs cannot coexist … similar to the Arabs and Jews. FYI … The bison prevailed and so will the Jews.

  5. It seems plausible enough, though certainly not proven. There is a cycle that matches to our solar system’s orbit in the galaxy.

  6. So … the climate fascists insist that the sun has nothing whatsoever to with climate variations … but some theorized cosmic dust storm does? Well … that makes as much sense as all the other unscientific lies they spread.

  7. Funny, but evidence exists that the 11 year sunspot cycle goes back 700 000 000 years. Now, if the earth were “exposed to the interstellar medium” for a period of time, then that evidence would be missing for that period, and it isn’t. Ergo, I call BS on this.

  8. As usual, it always comes down to the sun.
    The sun controls the climate.
Not puny volcanos, puny CO2, puny wobbly earth or puny humans.

    1. An entire summer was once missed in North America due to volcanism. Imagine how the MSM would spin that today.

    2. “As usual, it always comes down to the sun.
      The sun controls the climate.”

It certainly does. Ask a ‘climate change’ zealot why other planets in our solar system are also getting warmer. They *hate* that question.

  9. It was the wiping out of the passenger pigeons by evil white patriarchical men that started global warming. Gigantic flocks of them used to block the sun’s rays from reaching the earth for days on end, keeping the earth’s climate in balance.

  10. Yes, I’ve heard such, and similar, theories before. Such as, every 150k years the solar system passing through the galactic equator. I need to be shown the previous cloud that blocked heat from the Sun before I give any credence to these. Not implusiblew, though. Just show me evidence.

  11. The scientologists can say whatever, it is unprovable, though they insist the know.
When they calculate things they make a whole lot, like most of it, assumption from what they are familiar with.
And then there is a whole universe that does not comply with their assumptions and calculations.

They can’t tell what’s happening in their back yard, not yet in the rest of the universe.
They went to school for a long time, so they have learned how to bullshit endlessly.
Every so often they may get something that resembles the actual observation, though they are never sure.

There, of course, are the exceptions where a genius will through a process in his/her mind reasons into the truth.
If you have noticed, a genius will know when stop talking, the wannabe will go on and on and on.
Maybe I should just shut up.
    Heh … eh … h

  12. I can’t dismiss the link between dust and recurring effects on the sun. The Suspicious Observers YT channel is a fascinating resource on this, providing links to scientific papers on micro nova (our sun seems due to blast us in the very near future), earth’s weakening magnetic field, and ionic activity in Earth’s atmosphere preceding earthquakes. Dust and the electrical nature of the cosmos appear to factor heavily into every solar system.
