  1. A problem with the left’s attacks on Poilievre for stopping to acknowledge the Nova Scotia/ New Brunswick protestors is that it reminds us of one of Trudeau’s more egregious errors — his refusal to meet with representatives of the Truck Convoy. A meeting and simple acknowledgement of their concerns would have gone a long way to diffuse the situation. (The Toronto Star does not seem to get this.) Instead he chose totalitarian moves such as freezing bank accounts and hauling in unidentifiable thugs to remove people. Trudeau showed his inability to compromise, to listen to concerns and seek resolution through negotiation. Trudeau is not a leader.

    1. That was not an error. He refused to meet because he’s an abject coward. All the rest of his overreaction was a crude attempt to hide the one flaw that supporters of a politician cannot abide: the notion that their leader might be a complete coward. Anyone expects that politicians lie, and that they do it constantly. But personal cowardice is completely beyond the pale.

Justatwit showed what he was by shutting down Parliament during Covid and running the country by decree from his residence at Rideau Hall. He thus earned the title Coward in the Cottage. And its dogged him ever since. People may dislike a politician, but far worse for said politician is to be the object of scorn that is a coward.

  2. The attacks on Poilievre in social media and Mark Carney emerging from whatever rathole he comes from and being touted as some kind of saviour is telling.

  3. The main stream media, with the exception of NP, is conjoined with the LPC/NDP and is, the LPC/NDP/Media party. Anyone paying attention to their messaging should know that and the response from Conservatives should continuously remind people of that. Conservatives should never respond to them directly but around them to everyone else.

  4. Poilievre’s response to the Freedom Convoy was disappointing at best. He clearly had his finger in the wind at all times and didn’t want to make any move that wasn’t polled and focus grouped. In short, he showed himself to be a weasel.

Combine that with his appalling response to MEP Christine Anderson, AND his party’s unanimous endorsement of the NDP declaration that Canada had committed genocide, AND his party’s unanimous support for stripping away our rights during covid, and what do you have left?

A “leader” and a party that I cannot, under ANY circumstances, support in any way.

Once again, the only truly conservative party left for me is the PPC.

    1. And Bernier will disappoint as well. He is a politician after all

When there is no chance in Hell, politicians speak a great game. Everything you want to hear is said. Once a politician is in proximity to actually making a difference, every one of them jumps in line. I’ve seen that game played repeatedly over and over again.
Trump has been an exception yet even he disappoints.

      1. “And Bernier will disappoint as well. He is a politician after all ”

I’m not so sure about that. He could could getting a lot more support by ‘moderating’ his positions on all the above-mentioned issues, but he doesn’t, does he? Makes me think he may actually mean what he says.

        1. Bernier is a worthless bag of injured vanity. He was unable to accept his loss in the race for CPC leadership. Rather than accept his loss he decided to try to split the conservative vote.

          F**k Bernier.

I wouldn’t have accepted that ‘loss’ either. He’s done a pretty good job of spitting the vote, though…at least good enough to anger guys like you. Mission accomplished. MESSAGE SENT.

What the CPC (and you) do with that information is up to you. You know how to win my support *if you want it*.

            “F**k Bernier.”

F**k the fake Conservatives, then. Red Tories can kiss my a$$. Go vote Liberal, SCUMBAGS.

Add to that his often overlooked support for the despicable Quebec dairy cartel and their ‘supply management’ monopoly that keeps middle and lower class Canadians paying *three times* the price they should be paying for milk, cheese, eggs and chicken. He’s just fine with it, as are the Liberals and NDP. Only the PPC has the courage to stand against it.

  5. How soon till it becomes illegal to hate Juthtin’s Press Gang?

I think voting for Max is as pointless as voting for the Libertarians – but I cannot help get a Con elected in my riding of Ottawa Center so I don’t feel bad.

  6. none of this matters, dominion/es&s tabulators being used in alberta now ……. (s)elections are no longer fair and honest …… the chicoms win and are unstoppable
