Globe and Mail- Federal officials asked Facebook to take down false allegations about Trudeau
The country’s top civil servant directed bureaucrats to ask Facebook to remove a “false and inflammatory” story about Prime Minister Justin Trudeau during the 2019 election campaign, but did not make a similar request of WeChat, which spread false information about Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole and MP Kenny Chiu in the 2021 election, the public inquiry into foreign interference heard Friday.

What were the allegations??
Totally false allegations that he was allegedly wink wink nudging an alleged student there. Which is allegedly not why he totally didn’t allegedly quit in the middle of the alleged school year. Hi is totally innocent and I solemnly claim that I am not claiming that he did anything wrong.
I don’t doubt that, but in all these years no one has proved the allegations, and Buffalo Chronicle, which is about as reliable as the late Sylvia Brown, claims said “victim” was paid 1.2 million bucks to keep quiet.
Surely with all the investigative powers Big Money can hire, if the story is true, someone would have exposed it by now.
I would be ecstatic IF someone more reliable than BC could dig up some proof that this allegation is factual.
That’s because no one has investigated the allegations. The lack of curiosity is quite stunning.
You have the claim wrong. The amount was $2.25 million, not 1.2. Warren Kinsella, who at the time I would guess still had many connections within the Liberal party said at the time there was career ending scandal that went right to the very top of the Liberal party. I think later he used Trudeau’s name but his initial comments were before the Buffalo Chronicle article.
And his colleague and roommate, Chris Ingvaldson, totally was not convicted of possession of child pornography and sentenced to prison after leaving WPGA for another teaching position at St. George’s school.
Probably Buffalo chronicle’s famous “Castro is Trudeau’s Real Daddy” article, which is believed by too many Trudeau haters.
Margaret and Pierre were in the Caribbean at the time Justin was conceived. In the middle of this trip they disappeared by plane to a “private island”, for a break from the media they said, for a day. It’s entirely plausible the admirer of communism Pierre went for an unofficial visit with Castro.
I don’t care who his daddy is, Ì just know the benefit to Canada if he had been a BJ is incalculable.
Until there is a DNA paternity test, I find that possibility is perfectly acceptable.

It’s important to note which of the accusations against Justin Trudeau are false.
The way the story is presented at the Globe and Mail is to lean towards “some of the allegations made against Trudeau were false” … and there’ still no way of knowing if this is true or false
The only way be being certain of that, is having an inquiry where the federal gov’t is not pulling the strings and censoring the findings, nor calling “time out” or “that’s a wrap” when things get dicy.
So good luck with that in Canada.
