Let’s not forget that the parties, also, cull from within by pulling funding. Quite a few republican candidates were in margin of error contests with weeks to go in the campaign process, and the republicans, very publicly, pulled any national funding despite most of those funds having been earned on the back of Trump. Not to mention their telephone calls to bribe someone out of a senate race financed by the Chamber of Commerce hierarchy acting as a proxy for McConnell.
Funny, Tiaibbi still sees Trump as a problem.

Yeah it does. There’s some pretty compelling evidence (although circumstantial) that LBJ inherited the Oval office from JFK in a very creative way.

Trump’s moment has passed.
The opportunity for peaceful reform is past.
For prior to Trump’s first term,we voters had the idea that the Democrats were just fools and bandits..As in misguided people.
Whose “excesses” could be corrected by our institutions and norms.
After these last 8 years,we now know different.

You guys and gals don’t get it. It’s not just the Democrats, it’s the Uniparty, establishment Dems and establishment Repubs, they both cheat in their respective primaries to get the establishment candidate they want and then they collectively cheat in the general elections to get the congressmen, senators and president they want. Been that way for decades. 2024 isn’t about an 4 yr election, it’s about cleaning out the deep state, globalists, whatever name you want to call them.
Fraud may be longer term, you wonder if Ford really lost to Carter in 1976 for example (it was close).
Ford and Carter were both establishment picks , so the winner didn’t matter too much.
