Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

FTA:
“”Such a discovery is another vivid example of the underestimation of Amazonia’s twofold heritage: environmental but also cultural, and therefore Indigenous,” the authors write.”

climate change . pre industrial , cant blame the white folks
“…the ‘garden urbanism’ of the Upano Valley provides further proof that Amazonia is not the pristine forest once depicted.” There goes another green narrative that has been used to justify keeping humanity from the land. The advanced level of knowledge lost cannot be blamed on Columbus either. I doubt that Canada’s institutions would have funded that kind of research as they would be trying to protect those narratives from debunking.
I wonder who killed off these people?
Maybe ‘what’ rather than “who”? Did they all disappear at the same time, or did they just sort of gradually disintegrate? Drought, disease, warfare?
Perhaps they engaged in protoTrudeauism, and decided that having more kids wasn’t good, and everyone should embrace their inner LGBTQWERTY?
… the crystal skull aliens finally all came together, started-up their flying saucer, and flew home.

Somewhat related, the cocaine mummies..

Apparently.. Cocaine was a common upper class treat in ancient Egypt.. It would stand to reason that trade from South America might have been responsible.. I will go one further.. You know the little purses that are everywhere in ancient statues and carvings.. They were full of cocaine..
Odd that the plant itself or delivery devices are never represented.. A big secret?..
