If Women Ran The World

Embattled Harvard president Claudine Gay has been hit with 40 fresh allegations of plagiarism, with claims that she lifted ‘entire paragraphs’ in her academic writing.

The new allegations were first published in a shocking report from the Washington Free Beacon and span seven publications authored by Gay, ranging from missing quotation marks around a few phrases or sentences to entire paragraphs lifted verbatim.

It comes as the House Committee on Education and the Workforce announced that it’s widening the scope of its probe into Gay’s work, according to a letter written by Rep. Virginia Foxx. The committee had already opened a probe into antisemitism at the Harvard campus following Gay’s testimony that was heavily criticized.

Gay initially submitted two corrections to papers from 2001 and 2017 after she was accused of plagiarism, adding ‘quotation marks and citations,’ a Harvard spokesman said.

However, after additional claims of plagiarism, the Ivy League then said on Wednesday that Gay would also update three spots in her Ph.D. dissertation to add attributions.

Even the NYT is coming for her.

  1. Some women like men can be great leaders. But this Harvard person is NOT!

Yes I said person because she could become a he over night.

  2. Start feeding her papers into the plagerism AI, see what it spits out…

Also, why is her “thesis” unpublished?

    1. All PhD theses, including in Canada, are published by the respective natonal libraries — to be available for academic scrutiny. To my recollection, I think crooked governments have embargoed the PhD theses of famous people, so to avoid scrutiny.

  3. So, basically, her PHD really stands for piled higher and deeper and is totally worthless. How do you hold students to a higher standard? What is the limit for “unreported citations”? And if caught, you get to say, “Ooopsie!” and correct them?

    1. Wow! Sounds like you have an advanced degree in Owellian Leftist double speak! My UC Berkeley brethren and sisterthen would be so proud

  4. How will Harvard enforce its rules on academic misconduct after this? If I were an administrator punishing a student for plagiarism, I would blush from the hypocrisy of it.

        1. Well, the CRA goes after retirees and wotking-class peasants, leaving the fat-cats with overseas bank accounts alone. This is what’s known as Liberal-NDP justice.

    1. I was going to ask the self same thing, how can they punish students for the self same thing if they give dear leader a pass?

      1. And if the student goes public with their punishment, the press will have a good ‘ol time reminding everyone of Gay’s plagiarism.

          1. The conservative press will. Even the progressive press might find the hypocrisy a little too blatant.

  5. Affirmative action claims another victim … another FRAUD in the WAR against meritocracy. Funny thing it is … how the TRUTH always seems to emerge … eventually.

I cannot WAIT for Jan. 2025 … when Trump gets busy exposing the Truth inside our Deep State

  6. Babylon Bee’s brilliant take:

Claudine Gay responds to plagiarism accusations by giving inspiring “I have a dream” speech.

  7. Guys, guys, guys. Please refer to the intersectional victim’s pyramid of “this doesn’t apply to them” rules. That person, with a face only a birthing person could love, with a boot camp haircut and birth control glasses, is a black lesbian. Xir crosses so many boxes of DEI that the facts that she is a racist diversity hire that tolerates hate speech and calls for genocide and got a worthless PHD by plagiarism are irrelevant and most probably just a smears by the patriarchy. Nothing will change in academia.

    1. So much for meritocracy. An institute of higher learning headed by a plagiarizing black female DEI hire with a god complex would be a DEItocracy.

  8. There was a time when “PhD” meant something. Now many of them aren’t worth a pitcher of warm spit.

    1. There are parallels between the Harvard plagarism scandal and the many scandals under Trudeau’s corrupt government. Here Harvard is rich with endowment money and politicized left-wing professors and administrators. They are busy protecting President Gay’s ass, much like our corrupt government has been busy protecting Trudeau’s ass.

Our conservative movement in Canada is small, but it’s the true counterculture. So we must undertake guerrilla activity. One activity to do would be to check on some of the affirmative action hires, at universities and in federal government, zeroing in on the black and First Nation radicals, checking up on possible plagarism.

Let’s face it. The left establishment is corrupt. They look out for their own, and do not bother to hold their cronies to account. So they are ripe for the picking.

(This should be a new post).

  9. “Harvard is a highly endowed Hedge Fund with a University attached to it.”
    – Someone smarter than me.

These Ivy League Universities are all zombies shambling along searching for the brains they no longer have. Because of their huge endowments, they will continue shambling on for years, as the people running them into the ground spend the financial and moral capital while they continue to live their lavish lifestyles and ignore the rot that is the institution.

The Board of the Harvard University Corporation all have well compensated prestigious jobs, but have ignored their own duties and allowed Harvard to rot from the inside. Will any of them risk their personal sinecures and demand changes? Naaah!

They might be called nasty names by the trash that infest Harvard. That would be unthinkable.

    1. The proposal to tax private U.S. univerities’ massive endowment funds has likely gained momentum from all this.

    2. I’ve argued a few times that they are a hedge fund that happens to run a school for tax benefits…

Even with all the damage the people who run it are doing, they still are highly profitable, and the hedge fund grows every year…

Same as the foundations founded by titans of industry that now just support lunatic leftist causes..

  10. Urkel should have stuck with his life as a former child tv star. Not easy to deal with when the spotlight fades. There’s numerous examples. Yet credit to Urkel for trying to make something of himself, only to be tripped up by a few missing quotation marks. He was almost the exception that proved the rule.

  11. Nobody cared.. She checked all the right political identity politics boxes..

Understand.. If you hire somebody who is either unqualified or unsupervised they will over emphasise the easy things they can do.. More or less create a job within a job.. Off the rails, unproductive cancer..

We are up to our ears in this stuff..
