  1. So…M*A*S*H*. I have a Roku stick. There’s a free channel called Classic Tv and I’m watching the pilot.

I’m conflicted. In my youthful liberal years, it was a great show about the pain inflicted by war.

After 9-11, I knew Alan Alda was a liberal piece of crap and viewed the show negatively.

But now, I know wars are just used to enrich our elites…until we hunt them down and eliminate their bloodlines, the show is growing on me.

In the pilot, they refer to a black guy as SpearChucker and try to raise tuition for a Korean kid to go to college by auctioning off a weekend in Tokyo with a nurse.

Good luck going that these days…

Also, Classic Tv has ‘V’ the miniseries. That was a fantastic mini series. I’m scared to watch it again in case it ruins my memories. But I watched the first few minutes. Fantastic.

That was the greatest mini series ever..

      1. Having been a flight/Medic with the 57th medical det/Dustoff. (Vet-Nam)
MASH is and was 100% fake.
O-well they tried. But typical libs screw up everything.

        1. Here’s the obvious thank you for your service. But seriously…Thank You.

But I’m very interested. Obviously, it was a liberal comedy, emotionally manipulative at times. And real war isn’t like that.

It’s the holidays, you’re probably busy, but if you want to give your 3 or 5 biggest objections and observations of what they screwed up, I’d be very interested.

What are the best shows or movies that come close? I’ve never been in a war zone but I am going through genocide and doing my best to carry several through this….

          Anyways Merry Christmas!

            (1) We were solders is one of the best
They had a TV show about medevac/Dustoff a few years ago. Not sure what channel, but it really sucked. Most of it was about everyone getting in bed with everyone else. Much like Chicago fire, which my wife likes (I hate) is the same.

The worse of all Apocalypse Now.
I know there is more, but of the top of my head.

        2. It supposedly took place in the Korean war. Your comment about it being100 percent fake may still stand bit it is also possible their were some differences.

    1. You know, if CO2 were a problem I might give a damn but it isn’t and I don’t. Buffy et al can fly where ever they please as long as the idiots do not try and tell me I can’t.

  2. Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and Happy New Year to Kate and all the contributors for important topics and for the “replies”.

The reason that I like this site is that the replies are often substantive, with more detail due to its very knowledgeable readers, facts that sometimes get buried about the topic by our paid media plus the entire propaganda industry.

People, cross-border, who read here have good info to add to the topics presented by Kate and friends.

May your doggies have more medals this season, as some of us do like your success reports about your well-bred dogs.

I would NEVER let a surprise “rescue dog” into my home, as trendy as it might be. The worst dogs in the play parks are invariably rescues with an apologist, usually unattached “dog moms” who have weird children, or young people who were never trained to be adult humans.

Good luck! A pup is a 14 year plus commitment! Even Jordon Pederson says, “never raise a child that you will not like”. Ditto for dogs.

      1. What a cavalier comment, Dustoff. Do you even have a dog?

Actually, you can not always give away a dog without consequences, as many bond heavily with human owners after weaning, my preferred pure-bred Cavalier KCS especially, bred as lap dogs. Rescue dogs need a lot of work for a reason; they are the the same as rescue children: injured.

My dog, without any mushy invitation on my part (crate trained as a puppy), now 11, sleeps near me, often protecting doorways. I am her pack and THAT is hard-wired. She knows my grandchildren well, but that would be the only safe place.

          1. Hamsters, Justin?

They should get a pet fruit fly if they are reluctant to commit to years of care and emotional involvement.

          2. I find dust mites make very nice pets. No, they’re not that affectionate, but they certainly don’t require a lot of attention.

    1. By refusing to resign, Gay is doing considerable damage to other Blacks and Diversity hires. Now I don’t agree with the principle of diversity hires, but I believe some are capable individuals and like everyone else, they must be held accountable once hired. If not, the whole program intended to give leg up to traditionally discriminated against minorities is undermined.

  3. Global Affairs Canada kept secret from Canadians an internal review that stated that Kovrig and Spivor didn’t follow accepted security protocols during their amateurish foray into intelligence gathering in China:
    https://www.ctvnews.ca/politics/intelligence-watchdog-s-delayed-report-says-global-affairs-program-risks-blowback-1.6695789

Naturally the Trudeau government machine posted the internal review after Parliament shut down for the Christmas break. Pure coincidence surely. Mere coincidence.

    1. Our spy guys chat with Hezbollah too apparently, even though we designate them a terror org…
