  1. The cop exercised very poor judgement in chasing this other motorcyclist. Somebody could easily have been killed. The cop had the offender’s licence plate number and could have arrested him later. Unless the police are pursuing a violent offender these high speed chases are dangerous and stupid. Both bikers were extremely reckless.

That said, both bikers exhibited first rate riding skills. As for the girl, she’s wife material.

    1. “As for the girl, she’s wife material.”

She stood up for the big bumps and leaned at all the right times. If she can change tires and gut a deer, I’d propose.

      1. “she’s wife material”

        – But likely not for him; she’ll be married with two kids before he gets out of jail.

    2. A buddy has a dash cam in Calgary for insurance purposes. Caught some street racers. One crashed, the other continued. He clearly enunciated the continuing driver’s license plate number.

Cops didn’t care. “they’ll just report it as stolen, nothing we can do.” Well done, officer, you caught him before he can cause more accidents!

    3. Was apparently in Brazil, near Sao Paolo. And not recently, either. ROCAM is seemingly charged with handling serious crimes and high-speed chases, especially of motorcycles. Different parameters than North American police.

    1. A guy I grew up with knew that if the police chase went up to over 150 km/hr that they’d let him go. He was incentivized to drive faster whenever it looked like he was in trouble. He caused a bunch of accidents (I found out later) but never got caught.

I’m glad this guy got caught before he caused a bunch of accidents. Open road speed is one thing, but weaving into traffic and pedestrians is another.

  2. That is one crazy sonovabitch. Mad respect. The chick may not quite be wife material if she is too far on the crazy scale. But can definitely ride.

  3. Indeed, a good chase video, and it had a not-ugly ending.
But I’ve seen it before… most likely as one of the links on the “David Thompson: Oddments for the Weekend” post that so frequently appears here.

  4. I am guessing this is being run at a higher speed, probably 1.25 times, maybe even 1.5 times. If you have ever ridden a motorcycle you have a good idea about normal speed and what is possible. This is just a little too fast to be real.

Good riding anyway. But dangerous beyond belief.

    1. Are you suggesting this actually went on for more like 9 minutes than the 6 shown? That is impressive as keeping the focus required for that long is quite a feat for all involved.

I would also draw your attention to the 21 second mark and…
      PUNCH BUGGY! No return!
