Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

"The New York Times link to me yesterday [...] generated one-fifth of the traffic I normally get from a link from Small Dead Animals." - Kathy Shaidle

Look what Swiss doctors have found.
A dose of Moderna’s Covid jab injured the hearts of about 3 percent of people who received it, Swiss researchers have found.
The vaccinated people did not show obvious signs of heart damage. But when researchers ran blood tests three days after the jabs, they found high levels of troponin, a protein the heart releases when it is injured, in many recipients.
“Subclinical mRNA vaccine-associated myocardial injury is much more common than estimated based on passive surveillance,” the researchers concluded. The paper was published last week in the peer-reviewed European Journal of Heart Failure.
Over 1 billion people have received mRNA jabs. The study suggests tens of millions of them may have suffered heart damage – and don’t even know they’ve been hurt.
More worrisome is that most were still elevated at 30 days, indicating lasting and ongoing compromise of the heart.
Will the Winnipeg Police investigate all graffiti crimes this thoroughly? /sarc
“The WPS Major Crimes Unit has taken over the vandalism investigation (of their headquarters) and are asking anyone with information regarding the incident to call investigators”
Isn’t this the reason why they are protesting? The protesters think the police are putting other criminal investigations above the search for murder victims?
What better way to make the protesters point than to assign your “Major Crimes Unit” to investigate the heinous crime of who graffitied the cop shop?
What has me puzzled, rd, is why they have to investigate in the first place.
I don’t know how it is in Winnipeg or Canada in general, but here in the States, even small precinct shops have cops coming and going fairly frequently throughout the day. Was there no one coming or going there in that Winnipeg post to say, “Hey you! Stop! What’s going on there?”
And no crap Qwiki-Mart cameras on each side of the building? Or maybe that’s the problem. They have really crappy cameras that couldn’t positively ID the precinct Captain’s own mother. I dunno.
Anyhow, I was surprised that the taggers weren’t collared within a block of the station and before their paint had even dried. I guess things are a bit different in Canada.
I don’t understand the thinking of the bigwigs at Ford. Pickups and SUVs were selling. Car sales were down so they stopped making cars.
EVs are hardly selling at all but they will continue to make two million a year?
Someone must be getting big fat cheques from the Biden mafia family.
the ever more stringent CAFE requirements means that they either produce their own EVs and take the loss or pay another automaker to build EVs and take the loss while funding their competitors, all in order to continue to not be fined by the government for producing vehicles that the population wants.
One day, they’ll probably start selling a 2 seater EV, that’s cheap to make and fits in the bed of a F150, as part of the F150 package experience…
A replacement for a spare tire 🙂
Smart makes an EV, range is 134 km.
Diesel ones get about 700 km from 24l tank ..
When the Smarts first came out, a Dodge dealer in south Calgary had one in the bed of a dually pickup, on the roadside display stand.
At the time of its commercial launch, the Smart Fortwo diesel-engined variant, the Cdi, had the lowest carbon dioxide emissions for an internal combustion car
Ah yes…memories. It wasn’t long ago I witnessed hordes of virtue signalling Dutch folk waiting at train stations with signs reading “Immigranten hier welkom” which in a sense reads like a suicide note these days.
I think putting illegal migrants on a cruise ship is a great idea. When the adults are back in power they can just pull up the gang planks and set sail.
With respect to electric vehicles, I have 2 things to say. Anything the Chinese build is crap – their furniture is crap, their buildings are crap, their roads are crap, their dams are crap and so will be the electric cars.
My sister has a neighbour who purchased a Tesla during his male middle age crisis. At first he drove it during the summer and would put it under wraps for the winter (could not handle the heavy snow on the streets). Now it is always under wraps. My sister and I speculate that the insurance premiums have become too high. And with the recent electric vehicle fires on the cargo ship near Holland, it is only a matter of time before no insurance company will insure these vehicles.
It’s always been a “second car” for every buyer. A total luxury. Its best use is when charging at a Whole Foods Market … where all your “friends” witness your eco-virtue. Sad.
“Hale’s preference for the AR-15 style rifle, labeled “CRUNT///,” in bold white letters, and firing .223/.556 mm ammunition.”
.556 mm ammo. I see the media has done lots of research on firearms, again. I suppose the rifle was fully semi-automatic?
