Humanity has survived many climate changes over the many thousands of years of our existence. We did it by adapting to changing climate. We are an adaptive species, it is our strength. Sometimes we simply move to better places on the planet and sometimes we simply change how we do things. No one had to create a crisis or religion around the climate unless they want to use it to frighten the population into doing what the ‘climate clergy’ demands. It’s never good.
Let me say it one more time. There is no climate crisis. There is a pollution problem that actually could be fixed if we could get places like China to do sometime about it.

Oh, the ironing. Your math is wrong. You can’t multiply percentages in that manner. You have to first convert them into non-percentages (.02% -> .0002), multiply them, and then convert the answer back to a percentage. At any rate, you never even stated with the values represent.

Shelled marine organisms remove CO2 from the oceans (in the form of bicarbonate) to make their shells and as the do, the oceans absorb CO2 from the atmosphere to maintain equilibrium. The CO2 removed by marine organisms is sequestered as limestone. And over the past 550 million years, marine organisms have removed ~450 thousand billion tons of CO2 from the Earth’s atmosphere and sequestered it as limestone.
From greenhouse experiments, we know that the optimum CO2 concentration for woody plants (the concentration that produces maximum growth) is ~1000 ppm. We also know that when CO2 levels are reduced to ~500 ppm, the growth of woody plants becomes retarded. (Remember atmospheric CO2 levels today are only ~425 ppm). When CO2 levels fall below 150 ppm, all woody plants die. And ice core data shows that during the last Ice Age, atmospheric CO2 levels fell to ~180 ppm. We came very close to a mass extinction event.
We need more CO2 in our atmosphere, much more, not less.

Sure, electric farm tractors. I’m no farmer, but I did drive a big John Deere tractor for a few weeks at harvest for a farmer, pulling the grain cart. 560 horsepower in that tractor, and he told me that during cultivating or seeding he was using all of that. His John Deere combine had the same 560-hp engine in it, and it was at max power all the time. Contrast that with the electric car that takes maybe 30 or 40 HP to run it in cruise on the highway, and see the battery pack in it that takes up a lot of space and weighs up to a ton and costs tens of thousands of dollars and takes considerable time to recharge, even at high amperages. Where does a combine store the batteries to satisfy 560 HP for 12 or 15 hours during harvest? And how many days to recharge such a massive pack after a day’s use, during harvest when the weather is threatening? See, the physics of electricity are an inconvenient reality. The window for harvest time can be pretty narrow: the crop is either not quite ripe or it’s now too dry and the wind and rain are destroying it.
THAT is the science, not the gobbledegook spouted by politicians whose “science” is based on wishful thinking. The science is also the actual weather and the weather and other records that show that wildfires and floods and hurricanes are NOT increasing, but in fact are decreasing. The actual weather shows Greenland gaining ice even now, in the summer. The actual weather shows Australia currently breaking low-temperature records across that continent right now. It also shows Brazil losing cattle to the cold. Antarctica is not losing its ice either, no more than it ever has in its summer. Its last winter was the coldest ever recorded there.

At the peak of the last ice age the cycle broke and the planet began to warm (again). It has been warming ever since. The polar icecaps are the last melt.
Once the current warming cycle peaks it will start to reverse. A new ice age will follow and probably all new species will evolve.

I agree with the likelihood of a possible next glaciation but species evolve over a much longer period than a glacial cycle (100,000 years). North American species migrated south or perished and then returned as the glaciers receded.

The most obvious proof that shows the folly of “unprecedented” climate change is observational evidence. What do researchers find when glaciers recede, permafrost melts and water systems move? Artifacts of human habitation plus remains of flora and fauna that where displaced by the advancing glaciers and frozen tundra. Ditto with receding lakes, rivers and coastal areas. This observational evidence consistently holds true to contradict whatever climate doomsayers hold up as undebatable proof of anthropogenic climate change.
They can’t even say what normal is if there is such a thing. What’s the ideal temperature?
