    1. I stopped watching anything with Alec Baldwin in it years ago. He’s nothing but a self-absorbed, entitled idiot.

  1. When reached for comment in Montana where the remainder of the film will be completed, Baldwin said he’s eager to resume shooting.

    1. Let’s start a campaign to get Trudeau on the set to act opposite to Baldwin. He’s such a narcissist he would probably accept.

  2. Prop supplier Seth Kenney calls bullshit. Brand spanking new guns were supplied and they were never “modified”. It’s absurd.
He’ll have his day in court if he doesn’t settle first because he’s being sued by the film set armorer… rumours of staff and actors doing a little plinking on their off hours might be discussed.
Does anyone believe Kurt Russell, Tim Allen or Mel Gibson would’ve received the same kid glove treatment as Baldwin?
    Pfffffftttt. Please.

    1. The FIX IS IN.

      Near-new guns?

      “Someone” tampered with the trigger?

The “Killer”, so to speak, question is: HOW DID A LIVE ROUND GET AND STAY IN A “PROP” GUN USED IN CLOSE QUARTERS?

How did the “armourette” NOT notice the presence of a live round in a gun being handed to an “actor”?

The safety procedures for ALL small arms are pretty much the same under all circumstances, be the ammo real, blank or “dummy”:

Step 1 is to point the hardware in question in a SAFE direction.

Step 2 is to REMOVE THE AMMUNITION SUPPLY, be that a magazine, or whatever. SA revolvers are a bit “fiddly” at this point. Plenty of stuff out there detailing procedures for “clearing” a vast array of small arms. NO EXCUSES.

Step 3 is to manually “cycle” the action , STILL POINTED IN A SAFE DIRECTION and FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER, to ensure no ammunition is “hiding” somewhere.

Was there meant to be a blank in the revolver to be fired on cue?

Was the loaded gun handed to “butterfingers” with the hammer down and the (singular) “blank” indexed so as to be the “next cab off the rank” when the hammer was cocked?

If the “executive producer” had his finger on the trigger when he cocked the gun, he was doing it all WRONG. TOTAL training and “attitude” failure.

Again, LOTS of excellent material out there about exactly how the mechanism of these revolvers works.

If, as is being “suggested” this week, the trigger was “faulty / had been “modified”; WHO DONE IT?

There are a few small tricks to removing the trigger on these; and you need a couple of different tools to do it properly.

Who brought LIVE ammunition onto the location / set? Who arranged to use said live ammo for recreational shooting with guns supposed to be ONLY used in a “theatrical” context? Who knew what was going on?

There is SO much wrong with the story and even more with the way it is being manipulated. How many people would “burn” in the unlikely event the truth escapes?

Not that such a thing is likely to happen, this far down the track and with this cast of “characters” out of Whoreliweird.

      1. How did the “armourette” NOT notice the presence of a live round in a gun being handed to an “actor”?

Because of covid rules she couldn’t be in the building.

        Thanks for the detailed comment.

  3. Famous Alec Baldwin quotes, inspiring leftists everywhere:

“The Guns are bad. I am not.”

“You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.”

  4. Props guy should of gone through the weapon before anyone got near it.
Then he shows it to the on set crew, and actors – going through the process that guarantees the weapons empty.
That’s been a standard I’ve seen in the film industry for 35 years.
I’m not a Baldwin fan but i don’t think its his fault…but pointing and pulling was a very stupid thing to do.
I’m not sure what the shot was but even if he hadn’t done that there’s a change someone would of been shot during the scene.
    Prop departments fault-No doubt.

    1. As a Producer he had an employer’s responsibility (shared with others) that made him eligible for the manslaughter charge.
Of course I’ve never met him but if his reputation as far as I know it is true I can’t be surprised he behaved with dangerous stupidity when handling a gun and I think he deserved to at least be charged with the offense as he was.

    2. Yes the gun should have been checked. Also yes he is to blame for pointing a weapon at someone especially with his finger on the trigger.

    3. “I’m not a Baldwin fan but i don’t think its his fault…but pointing and pulling was a very stupid thing to do.”

I remember the original story being that Baldwin “pointed the gun at her and pulled the trigger”. Now that story has changed to “he was practicing a cross-draw”. Which is it?

  5. IMO: Baldwin and the armorer Hannah Guiterrez should not be the only people in the dock facing charges.

Hollywood has set up a whole complete set of rules about how to use real and fake guns, real and fake ammunition, and how to safely shoot real guns on the movie and TV production sets. The idiot armorer, the first assistant director (who pled guilty and got 6 months), and lots of other people on the set all violated multiple safety rules. They had multiple real safety violations, including GUN DISCHARGES (shots fired) on the set. No one said, “STOP! WTF!!! This is not supposed to happen! We are shutting down for a few hours until we figure out how we almost shot people with empty and safe guns!” The idiots even decided it would be cool to shoot the movie property guns at targets using real ammunition after hours on site, and no one in charge said, “Hold it! What are you idiots doing!”

Like every major “Accident” I have ever seen, there were multiple chances to prevent this from happening, most of which involved actually following the existing safety rules, not cutting corners, and flat out not doing stupid sh!t. The Executive Producers / money people (including Executive Producer #11 of eleven Alec Baldwin) refused to even follow the written safety rules. They held no safety meetings. They held no safety briefings for scenes using real guns, ignoring all the written rules for safely using guns on set. It was so dangerous and so bad that the entire photography department walked off the set the previous day, after multiple safety issues (and some financial issues in the financially strapped movie production too).

Halyna Hutchins did not need to die. The director did not need to be wounded. All they had to do was follow the written safety rules for guns on movie sets and spend the time and money following the safety rules. They didn’t. These same people probably violated those exact same safety rules on previous movies, but due to dumb luck or a benevolent god, they got away without killing or wounding anyone.

    1. How come Hollywood wants to make guns illegal and uses real guns in movies?

  6. L – Those financing the film expect that the publicity about the shooting
death, by the now infamous lead actor, will lead to a profitable movie.
If the actor was not a leftist icon, no movie producer would finish that
or any other film with him. But since, he also supports “gun control”
legislation, that neutralizes any cloud of “toxic” masculinity hanging
    over him.

The MSM will paint the shooter as a victim of the evil spirit that resides
in gun metal. A rusty actor, past his best before date, shoots people
    in the script.

Does the tragedy turn this B grade movie into a film noir marketable commodity? If so, it will distract from the Vaxx bio-weapon scenario.
