  1. What can possibly go wrong?

Will it be another Silicon Valley Bank situation again?

    Smart money says yes.

    1. Indeed. Smart money moves to China, Russia and India, where productivity matters more than wokeness.
Compared to the west, Putin is a saint, in fact, he should be sainted for pushing back against the woke crap that the west has embraced.

      1. Smart money moves to Russia?

Go ahead, send your money there. Be sure to give Vlady and friends their cut. And always stay on the ground floor of hotels.

      2. Putin cares about Putin.

He is not the great white savior of the West.

    2. But it won’t be his/her/zer’s fault, it will be the owl who told them in their sleep what to do! 🙂

  2. Just when one thinks society has reached Peak Irrationality there is a concerted efforted to prove one wrong by the Smart Set.

  3. Do FN peoples have a word for ‘statistical analysis’ that the Elders and Knowledge Keepers can share with us?

    1. I think you’re missing the depth of traditional indigenous knowledge of quantitative risk modelling.

    2. I’m not sure how much statistical analysis can be done with a counting system of “one, two, many”

  4. It would be beyond hilarious to see the interviews of the candidates.

And as for the soon-to-be boss of the successful candidate: you are in for the most unpleasant ride of your life.

    1. I don’t think any real work is done in that business unit and everyone outside of shareholders is in on the shine. In short, I don’t think The Boss will even be checking attendance.

FNs have a long natural tradition of handling Wampum, especially other people’s wampum (OPW).

How can this announcement not be racist?

  6. And we laugh at companies like Nike and Anhueser-Busch for hiring Dylan Mulvaney to promote their merchandise. We bemoan the fact that people like Trudeau, Macron, and Biden are supposedly leaders of Western countries elected by supposedly an educated, literate population. Have we truly fallen so far into the mass formatiion psychosis that we are left with this acceptance of what our supposed ‘bettors’ have envisaged for us, or are there enough of us according to the Milgram theory ( https://www.verywellmind.com/the-milgram-obedience-experiment-2795243) left that we can find our way back to a sane future? Just asking for a friend.

    1. You may start your de-programming by conquering your mortal terror of cigarette vending machines.
“Think of the children!” is code for “subvert the parents!”

  7. Flooding the markets with wampum can be heap big problem … so spoketh the knowledgekeeper. Too many shells make shells worthless.

  8. In all fairness.. Its not like the climate cult needs any help destroying our economy.. Another stick in the fire wont make any difference either way.. A little peyote, a little divining rod.. Why not?..

  9. Keep in mind that none of the quantitative models or modelers predicted the great financial meltdown of the U.S. financial system in 2007-2008.

Like the climate change models, the financial models give the results the modelers, or their paymasters, want.

  10. OT:
A close friend of over 40 years and his family just tested +ve for covid, all having pneumonia-like symptoms to boot. All triple-vaxxed, and now getting a prescription for that Paxlovid crap. They know where I stand, I told them the stuff has a bad rap, but whatever, after all this, they still BELIEVE not in their own eyes and ears, but in the system. I worry terribly about them.
Least of all, they seem not to believe me, who never got a single jab, and only wore a mask when staff of retail outfits asked me to, shook hands with what remained of the normies, etc. When other customers whined about me showing my face in public, I just pretended I couldn’t hear them.
    Roll on Armageddon.

      1. My aforementioned friends are smart enough to regret the vax, what with all the new data coming out, but dumb enough to take Paxlovid.
Myself, I have weaned myself off of every single product made by those aholes, even beta-blockers. I find a diet rich in beans of various kinds, along with stuff like cumin, turmuric, etc works just as well to keep my blood pressure down. I fart in their general direction. I don’t wear perfume, either, not even if it smells like a fresh mountain stream or a pine forest, or whatever. I don’t use arsenic make-up, either, or any make-up for that matter. Yeah, I smell like a man, and if people don’t like it, they can eff right off, and slather themselves in patchouli oil like the pussies that they are. Not one of them would last a second on a real construction site, but in an office building, they reign supreme, along with their biatch masters.
        City folk suck.

Youre not alone, the utter audacity of those us who saw thru the chaff n utter Bullshit (audacity being the mindless ones buying Thams crap with relish), left me with virtually No family whatsoever, cept for wife n 2 adult girls.

The mentality was “how dare you question your supposed betters hmmm???”

      My attitude today..??
Not one of em has the courage to say, hey ya now, you were right. Well, Fk em all. I could care less if I ever speak to any of em again…I’ll hire my own audience at the funeral…vaxxed need not apply.

Pure blood – Vit D @5-6000 IU and have been doin that since 2003… not sick once and wore no face diaper either after I came to the conclusion it was all a scam.

  11. There has been large recent discussion about the viability of banks, given the failure of several U.S. banks. To Canadian banks, TD Bank and CIBC bank, have also been similarly singled out. CIBC for example has 44% of its mortgage book as variable-rate mortgages, loans that have been increasing sharply each month. And analysts say that about 20-30% of these loans may go into default given trying economic circumstances.

So to see this type of hare-brained ad is scary.

  12. I had a cousin’s kid who went to a predominately Indian northern college. She is white. With the grades she got she could have gotten into medicine at Harvard. Hiring incompetents because of race is outrageous.

  13. The march through the institutions took Orwell from cautionary novelist to progressive operating manual writer. The “inclusion” of DEI is actually the “exclusion” of otherwise qualified applicants. What’s amazing is the smugness of the activists and operatives involved in the charade and the mindless acceptance by the Eloi.

    1. Everybody concentrates on Orwell, while ignoring Machiavelli.
Collective attention span of a freakin’ mayfly.
