Maybe no GOOD Government? The modern political parties are not for good government. They are for plundering the taxpayer as they hand out something to their personal party patrons, be it cash, power, or policies. They are just a small step above the oligarchs that run the puppets that lead Russia and Ukraine.
Sadly, the NDP and Liberals (Conservatives too) would have a lot more money if they realized Energy is a cash cow. Just ask Hunter Biden’s Burisma and Putin’s Gazprom.
Energy is a valuable commodity around the world, and all they need to do is pull it out of the ground and sell it for Billions of Dollars every year, year after year! Nothing has changed since John D. Rockefeller made himself the richest man in the world 150 years ago.
Imagine how many votes you could buy for your party by simply taxing the Oil and Gas from Alberta and Saketchewan as it flows out to an Energy Dependent World? They are blinded by their worship of the False God of Poverty, Want, and Impoverishment called Climate Change.

The Western Politcal Parties at least try a little bit to hide the hookers, blow, yachts, and bribes. Their buddies in the media are willing to look the other way too. Remember JFK and his “pool parties?” Clinton’s Bimbo Eruptions? The good ship Monkey Business?
When a Jeffery Epstein gets too public, they try to reason with him, then warn him, even sort of jail him for a little while. If after a decade or so of warnings? Then good old Jeffery finally had to go. They still have not released the paltry few records they have of Epstein’s crimes. I remember how they delayed a week or two to actually search Epstein’s Island (and Epstein’s Ranch, and his other houses) after they arrested him. How much got cleaned up, destroyed and/or squirreled away in those days of FBI inaction?
I would not be surprised if there is one or more politicians today with the proper political party membership, and an approved sexual orientation that has a John Wayne Gacy sized crawlspace full of dead victims somewhere in the US or Canada. After all, it took two KNOWN dead bodies and over a dozen complaints to get the LA Cops to look at Democrat Mega-Donor Ed Buck. Ed released his living victims, and reported the dead bodies to the cops himself. But the Gay California Democrat Superdonor got away with it for years and years.

You gotta love the predictable NDP response to the Sask First Act. Go to Ottawa and be the adults at the table. Stop engaging in a “pissing contest”. Do they not realize that they would be the adults at the table sitting across from the worst prime minister this country has ever been saddled with surrounded by a herd of fanatical sycophants who were put in their positions of power based solely on being as stupid or even stupider than Trudeau. No small feat. Yeah, I’m sure they’d realize the error of their ways after some sensible discussion.
Do the NDP not realize that the federal government’s policies would turn Saskatchewan’s economy into a big pile of steaming crap? In typical NDP fashion they trot out the old health care crisis, the high cost of living and lack of job creation. Oh yeah. Let’s not forget the lack of consultation with native groups. It doesn’t take an economics degree to realize that if your economy is in the crapper, everything else ends up in the crapper with it. And that includes health care. Of course your average socialist struggles to spell “economy” never mind understanding how it works.
