      Our mainstream media still loves playing games and found a 125 year old child’s bone in amongst its radar penetrating scans of 2,000 anomalies including possible rocks and stumps.

      1. I think people are reading too much into this. They proved that there is at least one unmarked grave on the site. There are most likely more of them. The graves were most likely marked with wooden markers when the deceased were interred which is why they are unmarked today, perfectly normal.

        It would be interesting to see if they can uncover any DNA or RNA from the remains. Both to see which band the child came from and if decease was the cause of death (which is most likely.)

        I found that the article wasn’t as biased as CBC articles normally are. The child was not referred to as “the victim,” and there was no gratuitous reference to “genocidal, white settlers.” I wonder how this one got past the copy editors…

        1. If there is one body this time, then it will be more than Kamloops, where this whole thing began. International press…burning dozens of churches across Canada…tearing down statues…yet there were ZERO bodies found at Kamloops. ZERO. The technology they are using is useless. Not a peep from any media following up and saying that the stories were fake.

  4. There’s a school within sight of my house in suburban Winnipeg called the Yellow Quill college.
    It’s been running for at least 25 years. Before that, it was some sort of church that housed university students.
    It sits on roughly 5 acres of land which is now mostly developed with the recent expansion of the YQC. They tore down the old church and dorms and put up a beautiful new structure that is at least 10x larger than the old one. I assume that the population of students/residents increased by some large factor.
    I don’t know the mechanism but I’ve been told that it houses aboriginal students who attend the U of M although I think there are classes being held on the grounds.
    I wonder when they’ll bring out the GPR to start looking for graves here?
    In an interesting and I’m sure unrelated note, for the last 25 years, break ins to cars, sheds and homes occur at higher rate in a circle that intensifies as it grows closer to the Yellow Quill college.
    The local Super store which is also within sight of the YQC, added a liquor mart a few years ago and now broken liquor bottles are common at one end of the parking lot. That liquor store used to be in the Safeway about a mile down the road where for years, it operated without any noticeable broken liquor bottles on the property. I have been approached at least once to purchase liquor for students as I made my way to the car. I can safely say that it wasn’t a group of Hutterite students that approached me.
    From my back window, I can see police lights at the YQC on any given night and occasionally, a police car drives past my house, very slowly, obviously looking for someone on foot. I can’t imagine where the person of interest is from or is trying to get back to.
    All unrelated trivia I have to assume.

  11. So much left unsaid/unasked. No comments allowed on the article.. Just where was the jaw bone fragment found? Did they gather it from a core sample they were talking about, or did they unearth it by the very means they were against (digging), or did someone ‘salt’ the site with a piece of “historic” evidence “Hey, look over here!” Style? If it was that shallow, is the frost bringing evidence to the surface, if so, the area should be covered in evidence?

  13. Unmarked Graves… there are a lot of these just in general since grave markings don’t last very long realistically and Historical Native populations were not ones to engrave tombstones. We have unmarked graves all over the place as there was a time you just buried the dead wherever they landed. There were “unmarked graves” in our little rule town discovered when some kids came across bits of ancient headstones poking through the ground… After some significant exploration they pieced together the stones to discover a little cemetery of Dutch settlers. But Dutch settlers were white and believed in God so I think their unmarked graves are canceled now because of racism, which can’t possibly be considered racist… Can it?
    As one of a dozen white bread born Canadians living in a neighbourhood full of landed Middle Eastern and African Immigrants/Refugees I am clearly the racist majority.
