  1. My guess? A homeless mentally ill drug addict just searching for shelter. He probably accidentally set the church on fire, just trying to keep himself alive in the fascist winter weather.

After all, doesn’t Hay Lakes, Alberta, have a huge homeless population just like the progressive cities of Vancouver and Toronto?

  2. Not to make light of this … but my home Lutheran Church in Walnut Creek, CA has been torched. No … the building is still standing unscathed … but the CHURCH has been burned to the ground … from the pulpit. Every teaching and WORD of Christ has been burned beyond recognition. Christ has been burned to a crisp, as multiple “celebrations” of the LGBTQqEI2s+ spew from the pulpit. Burned the church to the ground.

    1. Maybe it’s time to burn the physical one to the ground and start over.
Let the fruit cakes gather in a tee pee.

    1. Well … Indians DO know how to start fires. They hand down that knowledge in stories about earth gods

  3. One of our local churches (near the heart of the city of Ottawa — not some suburb 30 Km away) survived an arson attempt, but there was significant damage to one of the side entrances.
Not nary a peep from the local media.

  4. It is telling that there is not a word similar to “Islamophobia” that refers to the hatred of Christianity.
    Oh, wait…”Muslim.”

  5. “In May 2022, Conservative MP Dane Lloyd grilled officials from the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) and Public Safety Canada for ignoring the torching of churches across the country..”

I’d like to see that on video.

Perhaps the church was accidentally burned by a parishioner who had stopped by for a quick prayer and collapsed due to his recent covid vaccination, thus dropping his lit cigarette onto flammable material. Thankfully, he woke up and managed to escape the conflagration.

The Lord works in mysterious ways. And Christians have to unite and become as powerful a lobby group as Muslims and Sikhs, then they’ll get politicians’ attention.

  6. Re mosque.

You may have missed the fact that Islam has slipped way down the victimization totem pole. Everyone and everything must ultimately give way to the globo-homo agenda (including traditional gays and lesbians). Muslims are no friends to the gay lobby, and therefore their former status as a protected group if dwindling rapidly. In *some* ways Canadian conservatives share more in common with Muslims than we do with the transitional progressive neo-fascists.

    1. I do agree with cutting the hands off thieves and teaching a groomer to fly off a six storey building .
Where I differ on their methods , is the worship of a murderous pedophile as a God and the killing of everyone who refuses to do so.

  7. How many suspects do you have in this lineup?.. These days the police can find a needle in a haystack unless it involves a Church burning down.. Politics and protected groups in Canada.. Rebuild out of brick and put cameras on the building and the surrounding area.. The next time it happens release the footage and hire private investigators to find the truth.. You are on your own..

    1. Well, needle in a haystack method is employed against freedom seekers. Authorities are clueless when it involves eco-terrorists.
Compare Jan/Feb ‘22 Ottawa, ON vs Houston, BC.

    1. And Michelle Obama had a front row seat to that burning while sipping on Chardonnay .
      Odd timing that.

  8. I fail to see why mosque and muslim have been introduced to this issue.

Let us be honest, the item says “If it was a mosque, the bought and paid for media would be ranting for weeks.” let me correct that for you-If it was a sweatlodge or longhouse, the bought and paid for media would be ranting for generations

The perpetrators of these outrages are well known, but it is presently politically correct to kneel to the so-called first-nations terrorists and ignore their actions.

  9. Guard the churches.

    Get volunteers.

It’s not like anyone else will protect these buildings.

  10. Back in the day , members of the Sons of Freedom sect (Doukhobour) were “purifying” the West Kootenays via arson and bombs. Remember driving through a local town with a large non-Sons of Freedom Doukhobour population and seeing local men standing guard over their community centre. Wouldn’t be allowed today.
