Actually, I don’t think this type of government largess is particularly helpful to gays. Money gets wasted and people supportive of other causes are resentful. Creating special categories of Canadians leads to division. I think this particular funding is very hard to justify on the basis of real need. Gay men are among the wealthiest groups in society. I know some who own several houses. Also, I am not convinced gays face particular discrimination these days in the work place anywhere else. Not a good use of taxpayer money.
For gays, it’s all about the attention (the kind that the flamboyant Justin craves).
Three percent of the population, a negligible voters block, yet still demanding everyone’s time and attention.
I keep saying that gay pride, Russian pride and Militant Islamist pride events be scheduled on the same day, at the same time and at the same place but my suggestion goes unheeded.

LindaL, the division is deliberate. By dividing us, he creates animosity between us, which allows him to manipulate us any way he desires. You must remember, he is truly loved by all the right thinking people. Deplorables and such, are not right thinking, and therefore can be discriminated against with impunity!
