They support a system simply because it is there, not because it works or does the greater amount of good.

I have long held the theory that the Kung Flu was released to kill off as many elderly as possible to save money, as they are no longer working and contributing heavily to taxes but are collecting from Social Security.

Typical Commie method of charging the young for their education if they wanted to leave for the West. But if your parent was still in a Communist country in the 70s or 80s they would allow the elderly to leave as a way of saving money. So much for living in Utopia once you became a ‘burden on the State’. If I go broke that State can pay for all my needs and desires and I know they won’t. Another day, another scam.

As we are currently stuck with socialist medicine, opening private clinics now would remove qualified doctors and nurses from an already understaffed system. The poor and middle class would suffer the most, wait times and oft-closed Emergency services are already nearly out of control here.
Since Canadians demand this stupid system, I have long supported the concept of 2 tier medicine… but introducing it after you fired all your unvaccinated health care workers would be suicide. And don’t think these businesses would be demanding any less when it comes to the vaccination status of those they hire. Besides, I suspect that any unvaccinated doctors and career nurses either retired, or fled this province/country, long ago.

So by preventing them from voting with their feet should be added to the list of fascist dictates of the Canadian Health care Gulag?
The rationed care that is an essential component of a single payer system is what limits provincial billing numbers for practitioners. Allowing private care in Canada would keep more Doctors from leaving the Country or would attract them from elsewhere.
To paraphrase ‘We had to kill the people to save the system.’
One of the things the system restricts is how many doctors come out of med school. Extra doctors cost extra money. They see more people, write more prescriptions, order more tests. The system doesn’t want more doctors. More doctors costs more money.
Clearly the mask is off, nihilist eugenicists have grabbed the reins, and I don’t see any real ethical or moral fiber (or actual structure) to what’s fundamentally [Frankfurt School] critical theory – key to power.. Homo sapiens is a (the) bane, a la Malthus – except for those who go along, believing it’s egalitarian. Want to survive? Follow the leader(s). Take a knee. So nazzzzi I could spit.
I would strongly suggest those looking for a solution to the Healthcare mess read Colin Craig’s recent Op-Ed in the SUN newspapers. “Reduce Canadian wait times by funding surgery abroad”. Colin is President of SecondStreet.org His ideas ( on this and other topics) are well worth considering.
This is a complete dismissal by the State of any idea of Self-Ownership on the part of Canadian citizens. They have acknowledged that they regard you as chattel slaves to be controlled, used, or abused as they see fit.
It is a signal that revolution, and all that it entails, is now morally justifiable.
As the vaunted “Charter” lays in tatters on the floor via this corrupt Trudeau regime it is becoming increasingly apparent that this cabal of Marxist unionists, judges, bureaucrats and politicians need to be removed. We see lots of ‘blue plates’ (British Columbia license plates) in our hospital and clinic parking lots, and this has been going on for decades. When people crow about how wonderful the ‘free’ Canadian healthcare system is, the locals here (Bellingham WA) know it’s a crock, and it’s always been a crock. The long wait-list problem has been a feature from the start. Superior? Nuts.
