Claims by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland that the global energy crisis is a reason to move to so-called “green” energy faster, are out of touch with reality.
In fact, the “great reset” going on all over the world right now is heading in the opposite direction — back to fossil fuels.
Lawyer and energy blogger Andrew Roman has accurately described it as “The Great U-Turn”.
Going back to coal looks good on the Germans. Their Energiewende turned out to be a 360. Now they need to recommission their nuclear reactors.
But will our dear Fuhrer, Adolf Castreau, learn anything from Europe’s energy crisis, or the lesson Sri Lanka’s politicians are learning (no hangings yet, but give them time)? Not a chance. To solve the energy crisis, they want to move to so-called “green” energy faster, even though moving to so-called “green” energy is what caused the crisis in the first place.
But to be realistic, neither of them really believe what they preach anyway. How can we know that? Easy, if they did they would act like they believe it.

And leftists, especially environmentalists, make excellent carbon sinks. Lock ’em up in a big room, pump in CO2 hard and when they stop twitching, bury ’em in the back 40. Carbon sinks, the way God wants.
Environmentalists also burn when other fuel sources are not available. Studies must be done to determine the energy content and most effective furnaces. Europe seems to be well supplied with what up to now is an underutilized resource that frankly has been more of a liability than anything else.
