The Hill- 71 percent don’t want Biden to run for reelection: poll
Seven in 10 Americans say they do not want President Biden to run for a second term, according to a new poll that comes as Biden’s approval numbers remain low and his party braces for losses this November.
A Harvard CAPS–Harris Poll survey shared exclusively with The Hill found that 71 percent of respondents polled do not think Biden should run for a second term, compared to 29 percent who say he should run.

Exactly. I’d be surprised if Trump didn’t want Joe to run again. Maybe Joe can get an even 100 million votes this time round.
Biden is a gift for the Republicans. This year’s midterm elections will confirm it.

The 29% who approve of him are likely those who profit from him being in office or are hoping that he finally falls off his twig and Kacklin’ Kammy takes over.
As for his “price control” of the oil companies, it might help if he didn’t try to tax them into oblivion. Only a small fraction of what they charge at the pump is actual net revenue. Most of the rest goes to the various levels of government.
I’d bet some of that 29% are Republicans that hope he runs. By November 2024 the Democrats’ popularity should be low indeed, and extra low if Biden runs again.

The American people seem to care more about Biden’s health and well-being than his wife.

Trudeau’s Liberals only got 32% of the popular vote in the 2021 election (and only 33% in 2019 election).
