Its not because they are Democrat. Maine, Vermont & New Hampshire all all blue states.
Canada’s only saving grace is long cold winters.. You try and sleep outdoors in the winter.. Outside of the mild weather in BC.. 90% of anybody who has spent a winter outdoors.. Never wants to do it again..
Had to visit San Francisco to find some oil-base paint … only place I could get it. And the city is grim. The sidewalks are all covered with tent encampments of the homeless. It literally looks like a third world country. I suspect Bogata is cleaner and safer
