VANCOUVER, British Columbia, May 10, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Ultra Lithium Inc. (TSX-V: ULT – OTCQB: ULTXF) (“Ultra Lithium” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce it has closed the sale of a 60% interest in the Company’s Georgia Lake and Forgan Lake properties (the “Northern Ontario Properties”) to Yahua International Investment and Development Co., Ltd. (“Yahua”) pursuant to the previously announced Purchase, Sale and Joint Venture Agreement (the “Agreement”) (see news released dated April 20, 2022)

Are we to be the Uighurs of the next century? Wouldn’t it make sense for Canadians to own strategic metals. A round eye can’t control a Chinese company.
I hope whoever ends up writing the history books in a few hundred years for this era takes time to note that in an period of unbridled stupidity, Canadians were, for once, the cream of the crop.
I am thinking that China may invade Russia instead of Taiwan. Much easier fight and much more to gain.
If China ever wants Asiatic Russia, now is the time. Russia is as weak as it will ever be and has not one friend. Let go of Taiwan and become the biggest country in the world. And China has plenty of nukes to respond in kind. if that happened they might have to take all of Russia.
Tesla has thousands of acres already staked in Nevada, a massive battery plant in Reno and a patented Li recovery process. And a statement from Musk that they are thinking of doing their own mining and refining. Nevada has enough Li to supply the world. Lithium is not scarce.
so digging a little bit deeper, it appears this company is selling claims that they aren’t producing from, and were discovered between 1954 and 1965
I wonder why they aren’t producing?
I know nothing of this company, but I can tell you that the last several Ontario governments have actively discouraged mining and any associated infrastructure. The Victor Diamond Mine near James Bay closed a few years ago because of this. Maybe the Chinese can bribe their way in and actually operate.
Did I mention that China has been buying Canada one piece at a time, for some time now.
