    1. Pierre is just another trough feeder on our tax payers’ $$$
He is NO different than a Liberal………where wa he when this 2 years of lockdowns were happening? In Ottawa agreeing with turdo………….they are all the same and time TO CLEAN HOUSE FROM TOP TROUGH FEEDER TO THE BOTTOM FEEDER

      1. Agreed, 2 years of silence can’t be forgotten

I’ll vote PPC, don’t care if that means the liberals win, the CPC is just as far left as Trudeau.

          1. Got any evidence that was related to Pierre’s outspoken opinions against lockdowns? Vax mandates? Mask mandates? Arresting pastors? I don’t think I remember him doing any of that actually….

No it was just politics, oh’tool saw someone more popular than him and couldn’t have him hogging the spotlight

Sorry James but they’ve lost this vote for life

        1. Forget ‘ma principles’. Everything should be done to get the fascist prick out, everything. Like the US did with Trump. He didn’t lose but by golly we’re getting rid of him. I will guarantee this, nothing PP could do to Canada would stand nearly as close to the complete fiasco under Biden.

    2. Aim low Canada, it’s the only way.
Could have had Max but let’s go with Pierre, the Laurentian choice for “change”

  1. Does Jean Charest deny
Trudeau won his first election largely because he was a dope smoking scofflaw that promised to change laws he never obeyed?

    1. Yes. He is not only the best realistic alternative we have, but also a best chance for a meaningful improvement. He isn’t perfect. So what? He is the only chance we have to shift the center to the debate to the right.

          1. Just like John McCain and Mittens Romney dragged Republicans into “the center”? We Trump voters finally put an end to their decepticon nonsense. And just look at Mittens now …

      1. Pierre is just another liberal but with a blue jacket. Don’t let him fool you with his fast talk……where was he 2 years ago when lockdowns began. In Ottawa at the trough just like the rest of those bottom feeders……..The WHOLE CREW HAVE TO REPLACED…

      2. “Yes. He is not only the best realistic alternative we have, but also a best chance for a meaningful improvement. He isn’t perfect. So what? He is the only chance we have to shift the center to the debate to the right.”

Today’s Abacus poll says that 78% of PPC voters would consider voting for the CPC again if Pierre wins the leadership.

    2. So he becomes the leader of a party that has proven to be totally cowardly? Great. We’re not the Liberals but, don’t worry, we won’t actually change anything.

      1. And what have you done to change the situation? Did you donate? Did you volunteer? Or did you just join the Tantrum Cult?

  2. Agreed. He stated he will eliminate the carbon tax. This is the first sign that he is intelligent and is not afraid of the media who will spend the next three and a half years calling him anti-science.

    1. O’Toole said no carbon tax. So he renamed it the not carbon tax. That’s the CPC for you. We’re not the Liberals but you can trust us not to change any of their policies.

      1. “O’Toole said no carbon tax. So he renamed it the not carbon tax. That’s the CPC for you. We’re not the Liberals but you can trust us not to change any of their policies.”

That’s one of the reasons that former CPC voters like me switched to the PPC last election. Pierre won’t be doing anything like that.

  3. In a couple years will there be anything to conserve or will canuckistan just be a smoking ruin? Here in AB and SK ex regina need to get out of canuckistan now.

  4. L – “Polievre Power” – I think, we have a campaign slogan for the leadership campaign, Parliament, and the upcoming election.

Jagmeet Singh may soon have second thoughts about his Axis Powers agreement with the Crime Minister, soon to wear the meme Justin-flation(including self-inflation for a double-entendre).

  5. The same people who lined the bridges and highways waving flags as the Freedom Convoy passed, are now backing Pierre Poilievre.

  6. He’s not going to be the leader that people on this site hope for. Max is a real alternative.

  7. Just got back from Spruce Meadows where Poilievre had a rally.
After a long, long wait, he got there and spoke well.
The thing I was looking for was defunding the CeeBeeCee and heard with my own ears Poilievre say exactly that.

Let us see a few years from now how that will work out.

    1. Yes…a few years.
All this excitement, and no federal election until 2025.
Wake me up when we get there.

  8. Retribution.
    We have no future.
    We are bankrupt.
We have more takers than makers can feed.
    We can not reform it.
But we can reward the people who brought us to this point.

The divide is stark and PP is on the wrong side.

One side believes we have God Given Rights and Freedoms..The other believes we are property ,theirs,to grant conditional rights and freedoms as it serves their needs.
Two years and not one MP of 338 spoke up for the rights and freedoms of Canadian Citizens..
Tells me all I need to know.

Not one stood with the truckers and protesters in Ottawa..

Think how different the State Thugs might have acted,if faced with Elected Officials..especially ones who could control their future ..monies.
Mr Poilievre chose not to stand for democracy and free speech, but he sure was quick to fund raise on its battered remains.

    Face it Canada is done.
We can hive off the Western reaches, into a nation with ideals and a future..or we can enjoy an orgy of violence, revenge and blame casting 6 decades in the making..
    Choose the future ?
    Then its gotta be Buffalo.
    Choose retribution?
    All bets are off.
We can’t reform this mess, but we sure can burn it down.
And in the smoking ruins,a final note..
“you really should have left me alone”.

  9. I have only 1 way of determining if he’s WEF, or Laurentian, that’s by the degree of blood he draws from Charest and shit head. If he quits swinging for a second or long enough either get a chance to regain their composure, I’ll vote maverick in next fed election again. Till then he has my support. But if you quit for a second Pierre, I’ll swing my vote so fast you’ll never know you had it. I want both their skeletons on display and nothing less. DON’T STOP!! I have zero sense of haha left after the last 2 years. He can strip the entire establishment if he wants to

    1. As if there’s a remote chance he will do that. Expect nothing but small incremental changes that will basically change nothing. Harper had a majority and we still have the CBC. We will still have some version of a carbon tax regardless of who gets in. The elites behind both parties are all in on that. Like O’Toole the cons will just call it something else.

  10. The latest PMO talking point has been released.
It’s Polivierre is like Justin Trudeau.
Three of the minions hopelessly trying to push this narrative are Susan Delacourt, Andrew Coyne, and John Ivison.
Another narrative is being pushed by the establishment that Polivierre is “dangerous” the water carrier for this are the pundits pulling for Charest and Brown. They believe that association with the Ottawa protesters is bad, if you want to attract liberal voters. Oddly, the same geniuses can’t figure out the connection the protest had to the disenfranchised 30 or so percent of eligible voters that didn’t vote last election because all the choices (none of which appealed to them) all ran on identical platforms.
It’s even there as plain as day, yet they express “he’s attracting people to his rally’s” like it’s a replay of the Nuremberg rally’s instead of the great ignored finding someone to support that reflects their views and could have a chance at forming government or at least making it impossible for a liberal minority to govern without compromise to conservatives.
That and the prospect of having someone in Ottawa that would cause the same level of anguish that Ottawa seems to impose on the great unwashed gives them a reason to vote.
And every time they go unhinged, such as how Charest did during his interview, convinces them Polivierre is that guy.

  11. How about HUMAN RIGHTS TRIBUNALS?
    Stop everything.
Let’s start at the beginning of COVID.
Let’s examine the genocide and the part every Parliamentarian played in taking away our Rights and Freedoms, and the lives lost and destroyed.
Let’s examine the policy on vaccination and the angst, injury, and death.
Campaigning now!? It’s a distraction and Poilievre and the Cons know it.

    1. Exactly.
      They distract and obstruct.
The Government declared war..Not on a virus.
      But upon the working citizenry.
And no evidence of “The Dread Covid Pandemic” has stood the test, these last two years.
So was there actual reason to declare “Emergency”?.
Why is it so hard to find?

Then ,If a real pandemic was occurring, what explains the incredible government response?
What explanation for two years of power tripping?
      Incompetence at levels previously unsuspected?
      Arrogance so thick..

      And Public Health..
Why are we permitting their continued existence?
They failed on every front and by every measure.
Two years..No first aid treatment for the Dread Covid?
Two years, not one speciality Medical Team, trained up for emergenct pandemic treatment..
      But “It’s an emergency”.
Two years of obstruction of evidence, evidence that treatments for SARS 1 work on SARS 2.

      Government run healthcare..
      Dead as a post.
Anyone still feel safe with your medical records in Bureaucratic hands?
Happy over bureaucrats overruling medical doctors?

      Same silence.
      From all 338 parasites.

What the hell do these so called “Elected Representatives” consider is “Good Government”?
Cause most everyone else,CBC viewers excluded, can see what good, government is in a crisis..

These idiots and entitled twits are the crisis.
So Whoo Hoo to a “New Populous Leader” of the blue wing of our Uni-Party.

As the carnage in health,of those who trusted and those who were forced to take the jab, continues to develop, the question of who will lead the Conservative Party of Canada, will become a footnote in our history.

      On the brightside?
The Guillotine. Because it is our Heritage.
Or some lovely organic hemp rope,in homage to Dear Leader.

  12. The Job One of a conservative PM is to either close CBC permanently, or install Ezra Levant as President.

Otherwise, well, you know what you’re in for. National Inquiries over paying $16 once for orange juice.

  13. I was there. Here is a video just before he showed up. He was late because of the traffic jam.

    https://youtu.be/b8efU908ShQ

It was an incredible 1 hour talk. He discussed the inflation problem, oil and gas, the elimination of troublesome regulations, the elimination of the CBC (huge cheer), housing costs, free speech, freedom and the elimination of the carbon tax. On the final note I liked his comment on environmental regulations, leaving it to each province to determine the right measures on their own. Almost a states rights take on the issue.

Wonderful evening. Can Charest draw this big of a crowd? I doubt it.
