  1. Grab a shitload of popcorn kiddies, the next few weeks will be memorable.
    Our politicians are totally freaking as Trudeau made a small irritant on the world stage into a full blown crisis.
    Besides the infighting currently happening, and only going to get more entertaining, the mainstream media has to find a boogeyman that is the cause of Trudeau setting off the Nuclear option.
    As it’s going to be played out by many different other media, Trudeau has many other options he could have used but bypassed them. This is not how this game board is supposed to work in which Trudeau used a carrot and a stick. He totally kept using the stick over and over in this incredibly short period of time.
    No negotiations, no talks with any of the disagreement people, just kept the stick going.
    And then set off the State of Emergency which is ONLY FOR A TRUE EMERGENCY.
    None here justifies this…

    1. The thing is that so far it’s not working at all and I don’t think the emergencies act thing will work either. The truckers will still be in Ottawa on Monday I can guarantee you that. If he is then what? What does hair lisp do then?

    Sophie (Justin’s wife) is launching a video series on mental health with Elle Canada. I sincerely wish her well.

    The reason for the post is that she has removed “Trudeau” from her name (Sophie Gregoire) and the name “Trudeau” is not mentioned anywhere in the article.

  5. This is a massive over-reach and the Liberal caucus will be committing suicide if they don’t force the boy wonder out. Freeland should probably go too, she failed to say no Justin, you can’t go full Hitler over this.

    You couldn’t design a better pretext for national chaos, a sort of complete disruption of the body politic. A handful of people in some PMO think tank must have convinced each other this would be a good idea.

    In fact it is a terrible idea, and within weeks Justin Trudeau will be out of office. I think he should face more severe consequences than being fired. The governor general should put a stop to this, and if she doesn’t, then the next person to hold the position of PM should fire her.

    An attempt to restore sanity to our political life has unfortunately failed. I just read above that the PMs wife is some sort of expert on mental illness. I can see why that would be of interest to her.

We do have a US/Cdn extradition treaty after all. Maybe CBC too for possession and use of the illegally obtained information.

    1. CSIS is responsible for the hack, perhaps helped by one of the thoroughly corrupt american three letter agencies and done at the Trudeau regime’s orders. There will be no charges laid, let along extraditions. This is the power of the state in action. Now shut up and comply, citizen.

    1. Nope. In our parliamentary system, the Crown has no power to dismiss an elected PM. The only way Castreau goes is if his own party jettisons him. Will that happen? No. The liberal MPs have been cowed into abject obedience to their Fuhrer.

      1. removing a prime minister is one of the reserve powers held by the crown, but unlikely to ever be used given that the governor general owes their position to the prime minister, and thus is likely loyal to him…

      1. The People’s Choice from the 2021 election is the ‘freely elected’ Justin. If the Queen were to dismiss him she could then be seen as over riding an election. That can’t be. This is democracy good and hard. Yes people voted stupidly so let them contemplate the seizure of their assets, freedoms, even of their bodily choices. In removing the monarchy you would have P.M. as the supreme leader without any limit. Maybe the last Federal Election will be the last federal election.

  13. If the hacker is speaking the truth, the Canadian gov. Is hacking US owned platforms using private Candians, to hide their handiwork? Sounds like a diplomatic crisis is brewing.

  14. What’s the legality of publishing the illegally obtained names of convoy donors on twitter without their consent? I saw just that today. I’m assuming that could be the subject of a lawsuit.

    Doubtful if any law enforcement agent in this country will ever go after them.

  19. The crux of the problem is that Trudeau is not an intelligent man. Failing grade seven and then a degree in drama, the intellectual equivalent of finger painting are the first warning signs. Not capable of a career in teaching, (and how do you get kicked out midterm after only a tear and a half?), he fell back on politics based on his last name and a decrepit party looking for a gimmick to get back to the trough. He was acclaimed as a hero of the pandemic by a bought press and a PR campaign which ignores his utter incompetence and irresponsible spending. Note: The hero of the pandemic replaced the hero of the climate and the hero of the woke. Accustomed to the adulation, he was not capable of recognizing that the time was ready to move back to normalcy and tried to drag out the ‘crisis’ by adding more mandates. Note: there is no hero of normalcy which is why he is so desperate to avoid normalcy. So now we have a challenged mediocrity desperately trying to hold onto the love. A toddler tantrum describes it well. Moving forward – You can write off Trudeau but for Jagmeet Singh who is Trudeau’s only prop. If Jagmeet went to the liberal party and said he would support them if they dumped Trudeau, Trudeau would be gone, the mandates would be gone and the country would move on. Has anyone questioned their local NDPer as to why they are supporting Trudeau? The NDP, for once in their existence are the solution – will they grasp it?
    And don’t worry about Trudeau. He has his PMs pension, his trust fund, the Trudeau Foundation and any foreign bank accounts that may be lying around. Besides he can always teach quantum computing in China.
