      1. Perhaps it is time for all Canadians who value freedom to take an active part in this movement. I would propose that we can organize a run on the banks. Suppose that we all head down to our local bank next week and tell them that we are giving them notice that we will be closing our accounts and will be withdrawing all funds as of March 1st. Nothing like a run on the banks to truly shut down the economy.

        1. A run won’t work as the pure scale of Canadian banks is beyond anything that could effect them in that way. One it would take everyone and even then it would not work.

          With the EM in effect the minister could just order the capital ratios changed. And have the bank of Canada fund any outflows. The second would be a capital on physical cash withdrawals.

          Because so much of our money is just 1 and zeros on a screen these measures would due little to the economy.

    2. Just heard David Akin on Global National asking about bank accounts possibly being ‘geographically targeted’. But Trudeau won’t say where. Guessing a province that Starts with A, ends with a. For one.

I would love to see a motion in parliament for a perpetual ban from holding public office at any level, anywhere in Canada either elected or appointed for anyone (including their decedents in perpetuity) who ever had any relationship or connection of any kind with the WEF, the Bilderburg Group or any of the principle officers, directors, advisors or funders of those organizations. NO EXCEPTIONS. we need to flush the crap out of our democracies.

  20. Well there was once something called the German Democratic Republic and like us they had a bang-up Olympic team. Now if I really concentrated, I could come up with another similarity, it’s in the stars, let me concentrate, oh perhaps I should be in a concentration camp, do we have those yet?

  21. During Question Period today the PM was asked if Parliament would forgo their scheduled week off next week to instead debate the Emergencies Act. He didn’t answer the question (He rarely does).
    What are the chances the break gets extended longer to avoid the debate and thereby extending the Emergencies Act even longer without oversight?

  22. I see it as a precedent. Now that accounts can be seized at the whim of the government lets look at where it can be used.
    Covid emergency – hundreds of billions have been broadcast and it is a certainty that some was misdirected. At the mere suggestion of impropriety let the accounts be frozen. In view of the huge amounts involved lets offer a bounty of say ten percent of monies recovered to the whistleblowers. Not much chance of hiding stolen money when you can’t trust your partners in crime.
    Climate emergency – Again hundreds of millions have been diverted into private accounts. Offer the bounty and freeze accounts upon first report.
    All of this will take some time to investigate so to avoid the problem of the governmental criminal class popping overseas, possibly into prepositioned foreign accounts, seize all passports of the suspect class until the allegations have been investigated and the money has been recovered.
    We cannot stop a Trudeau but others will stop and pause and maybe draw back from further actions.
