80 Replies to “Counter Protesters & CBC Block Hospital Entrance”

  1. I guess the hospital isn’t particularly busy, contra the wailing and gnashing of teeth we’ve been hearing for two years, if healthcare workers can protest against those who make sure they can eat every day, wipe their asses with toilet paper, and otherwise be obnoxious peons of the fascist dictatorship. Reminds me of all those dancing nurses and doctors on tictok and instacrap.

    1. They are probably from the Public Healthcare Union office. So, they can claim they are healthcare workers.

  2. Wait don’t block the door, the nurses are scheduled for another dance rehearsal for their tiktok channel.

    1. Those clowns are out in sub zero temps that a virus could not survive in because of the effect of SUB ZERO temps … Also, they are ALL wearing the ineffective masks which are nothing but symbols of compliance by the frightened sheep of Canada and there are many .. most have genuine mental issues.

  3. Orders from the PMO to his freaks and weirdo supporters to create something that his media can use to smear normal Canadians.

Is that noise keeping the patients awake?

    1. Probably put an add in the Toronto Star.
All the Star readers showed up.
      About 100, Maybe?

      1. Hey! I’m a boomer and resent the generalization. I definitely do not support the lockdowns, masks mandates, vax mandates, or any of the other bullshit that has been forced on us in the last two years.

        1. Most do, however. The only ones I see fully masked outside around here are Asians and boomers…

          1. Oh please, walk around any university campus and you’ll see slowly stampeding Eartha Quakes, soyboys and beings of not easily determined sex all double masked.

          2. It doesn’t matter what age/ generation. If you watch Constant Pandemic CP24 porn all day long or if you drink from the poisoned chalice of liberal thinking, you want permanent restrictions as long as you can go to the liquor store white like thinkers for your white whine and to Whole Foods for your organic fair trade salads and avocados.

        2. Me too!!!

Has the “anointed one” shown his face yet? Mask or no mask???
I walked into five places of business today without a mask. I am a boomer!

      2. Hey Millie, this Boomtard has been against restrictions ever since the “Two weeks to flatten the curve” became permanent. There are a lot of Millies out there who are loving the lockdowns.

        1. I’m no millie boomer and the facts are clear. This is a war against boomtards who want permanent restrictions.

          1. Ok idjit just f*** off with your teenage rebellion somewhere else. Young and stoopid are overrepresented every time the left wants something. And that goes double when it comes to Wuhan Flu restrictions.

      3. “They want permanent restrictions. ”

Me too. I want so many permanent restrictions on the restrictions that they can never happen again. Getting the restrictions lifted is only the beginning of the battle. If everyone feels good and goes home we are lost.

    1. They are a few weeks too early. That’s when the grocery store shelves are going to look rather empty. Just watch how fast that group changes their tune when they can’t purchase their favorite candy bars. They haven’t quite put the pieces together yet. But, they are about to get educated about the importance of product distribution and who is responsible for that.

When they acknowledge that revelation, their “benevolence” will give in to selfishness.

      Popcorn.

    1. You would think. Local legacy radio hosts complained ad nausium recently about some protesters THEY didn’t agree with in Alberta.
The worst thing about the legacy media is that they genuinely believe they are balanced in their reporting.

  4. Are they blocking the Emerg. entrance? If not, it’s a bit much to imply that folks needing access to hospital care are being obstructed.
That said, it is disturbing to see that Safetyism is their religion.

  5. Looking at the bigger picture, isn’t this sort of shit exactly what the lefties want? Division, social disorder within normally trusted institutions? I already detesting the next nurse I see.

  6. You can tell they are counter protester by the simple fact that all are wearing masks, outside. No science, all posture.

  7. The left are masters of protests as their unions follow the Saul Alinsky 12 Rules for Radicals. Number 1 never defend always attack. Tough to fight as the media gets their message out and destroys the Truckers Convoy of Freedom.

  8. They wave the word “Science” in the air, like a religious trope. With no real sense as to its meaning.

  9. “We put this together in twenty-four hours”
The hardship of having to take an Uber across town for a one-time, two hour protest beggars the imagination!
Such dedication! Medal of Canada prospects all!

  10. I don’t know much but I know this: To survive I need water & food everyday and nobody in the health profession has a hand in getting it to me.

I see fucktards wearing masks outside all over the place. Lots of them are young.

Here’s the silver lining in this ever-darkening cloud: As long as he lives, Juthtin Trudeau will never feel safe or secure because he’ll never BE safe or secure.

    1. TurdHole will always be safe and secure. Because he is not worth the effort. He is nothing more than a shit-stain upon the Earth. Nothing more.

  11. Some ‘protests” are more equal then others it would seem.

“What do we want ? “, ” Less Freedom “… when do we want it ?… Now.
I wonder whos paying them to “protest” against freedom.

“No more freedom”, No More Freedom ” !

  12. Ottawa’s “counter-protest” was a bust. Only a few limp-wristed sad sacks showed up at City Hall. I understand none of them made any attempt to “punch a Nazi”—in part because Ottawa’s finest kept a close eye on them.

The people who fund left-wing riots and colour revolutions around the world (Soros is just the most notorious) have apparently written off Trudeau as a lost cause.

    1. No, there is too much scrutiny right now, they like to operate in the dark or away from prying eyes and just annouce what you have to believe about the resultant mess. If we can see who is involved or who actually instigates it then all their MSM support peters out since it is easily debunked with video. It also sounds like other police forces across the country are responding to what the Ottawa police are doing and it doesn’t look good for Watsons Goon Squad. I did hear they were getting issued new Jackboots though.

    2. This week.

I’m sure they’re writing up new proposals to curtail what happened to GFM and how to avoid FB from losing another 1/2 million and drop another 200 billion next quarter.

    3. Yeah, watched Viva Frei try to interview them. These are the people our City listens to. Probably all from McKenny’s ward. I know which group I’d rather be with today and it ain’t them.

      1. I also watched Viva Frei try to interview them. Some were obliging. Some were not. All had a certain “the government is always right” mindset and an amazing absence of certain facts that caused them undo stress.

You’ll soon see a new posting about his entire day here on SDA.

  13. The Pro-Freedom movement has passed the Rubicon from “Protest” to “Occupation” to a worldwide social movement.

    Social Movement
    noun
a group of diffusely organized people or organizations striving toward a common goal relating to human society or social change, or the organized activities of such a group: The push for civil rights was a social movement that peaked in the 1950s and 1960s.

It was Liberals and Democrats who opposed the civil rights social movement of the 50’s ad 60’s, just as it is the Liberals and Democrats who are opposing this now Global social movement for freedom and the rights of the individual, including body autonomy. Same tactics. Ad hominem attacks, vituperative language, demonization, othering, threats and actual application of coercion and state violence, intimidation, etc.

  14. So. I put a pro-trucker poster in my window.

Then I made the mistake of taking a phone call outside.

A neighbour pounced on me and shouted, a propos of nothing, “Are you one of them?”

    I answered, “Excuse me?”

He then launched into a barely coherent rant about how the truckers were Nazis, his “husband” had to cancel a medical appointment, “LGBTQ” people are afraid to leave their own houses, nobody can sleep (you can barely hear the horns on our street) blah, blah, blah, poor little us, nobody ever suffers but us, what did we do to deserve this.

I answered: “Good, decent people in this very neighbourhood haven’t had steady work in two years. If Trudeau has his way they never will again. What did they do to deserve that?”

He swore at me and walked away.

I apologized to my friend in another city, who was still on the phone, and told him I had never seen such public displays of hysteria from my neighbours before the truckers came.

The poster’s staying up till I find a way to move out.

    1. Proving once again those who accuse others of false deeds are often guilty of what they spew out upon others.

      1. Truckers on the ground are on their best behavior. Don’t project your lowlife Antifa standards to your betters.

      1. Naturally.

Never mind that I rarely see him outside in one normally. He clearly doesn’t really give a damn about Wuhan flu, even though his “community” are prone to being immunocompromised for some strange reason.

He was wearing it as a display of loyalty to the cause and to provoke me. It didn’t work, of course.

  15. My son lives in Ottawa. Joined the protest with both a Canadian flag and rainbow flag. No one harassed him. He said just a bunch of happy people.

    1. Saw a couple of guys dressed like your son on Ottawawalks. Just part of the party. Glad they didn’t fall for the fear porn.

  16. Can someone explain the health not hate sign since it seems the hate is all on their side?

  17. Gawd that’s embarrassing. As a 23 year Critical care RN and 2 years as a Covid Nurse I can tell you we don’t all feel that way.
It’s mostly the young doctors and staff infected with ‘go-alongism’. Dangers of ‘microagressions’ are creeping into our literature while the floor nurses battle actual aggressions like disease and violence. I only hope I can retire before I’m sent for re-education.

  18. There’s even a rally going on in Trawna right now and according to a livestreamer* I’m watching the police have shut down the Gardiner Expressway (the same Gardiner the Tamil Tiger supporters shut down a few years ago as the police sat by idly).

YouTube is limiting the amount of viewers who can watch the livestream for reasons that make little sense.

  19. // There is a large protest right in front of a Toronto hospital. But it’s the counter protesters, made up of healthcare workers and supporters //
Are they blocking the ambulance bays? Are they abusing health care workers?
Here are four more typical examples:
“This is so disgusting. And possibly criminal”
    https://twitter.com/kinsellawarren/status/1490107397469360138
Four photos: Ottawa, Toronto, Edmonton, Ottawa
So Calgary, where the Patriots banged on a hospital windows & blocked ambulances, is not mentioned.

    1. Have you never heard of Google Maps? In Ottawa, anyway, any motorist who really needed to bypass the Convoy could easily do so.

Those photos were staged to make the truckers look bad.

      1. Riiiiiiht !
Tell the ambulance driver trying to get a patient into a blocked ambulance by to use google maps.

    2. You pissed & moaned about this elsewhere today. Apparently you didn’t read my response. Maybe you’ll read this one.

Foothills Hospital kicked out all visitors this past Tuesday for 7 days. So people now have loved ones locked inside with no support system in place, save those who are fortunate enough to have cell phones & actually have the ability to use them. There are literally people lying on their death beds there & family is unable to visit them.

It’s no wonder people are banging on windows & blocking the Emergency dept. Like every other Covid lockdown, law & restriction foisted upon society for the past two years, this is fucking criminal.

      1. // So people now have loved ones locked inside with no support //
If the people banging were there for their loved ones, I can understand .
At least they are in a hospital, not some dickensian care home.

        But blocking the Emergency department can hardly be in aid of their “loved ones”;
rather that they don’t care about other peoples loved ones.
[being a “loved one” is not a good situation. Next to “among family & friends” it’s a bad sign.]

    3. Who exactly is abusing healthcare workers and why would they? This is made up out of whole cloth by the legacy media. The hospital in Calgary is the one where they banned visitors and it was the patients’ families banging on the windows. Get off the propaganda-tube. So ridiculous.

  20. So, let me get this straight, it was well below freezing today in Toronto, and yet most everyone in the video felt the virtue signaling need to wear a mask outside? Is that about right?

  21. Is this the same protest I heard some guy (Doctor?) on Global Edmonton say nurses won’t wear scrubs to work because they don’t want to be harassed. Just a rhetorical question, I know the answer. Just sick of the hypocrisy and media bias.
