  2. I finished work at 4.30pm in Edmonton, on the way home to Calgary by 5pm, and passed a medium sized group of trucks with horns singing the song of freedom just after Red Deer and headed north.

    No idea who they’re looking for in Edmonton… could be anyone! Maybe they’ll park near downtown / legislature building and see if they call for anyone to come out, if anyone will visit or just have a conversation?

  3. Businesses downtown who did very well catering to the parasites these last two years are whinging that if this keeps up much longer they’ll be ruined. Allegedly the Rideau Centre mall at Rideau and Sussex has lost $20 million in sales already.

    Tell them to send the bill to Justin Trudeau, if they can find him.

    Lots of smaller shopkeepers selling crap nobody needs have lurid tales to tell about the Convoy. Almost all are apocryphal or greatly exaggerated.

    Nobody assaulted their staff on the street for not wearing a mask. Nobody barged into their overpriced bar demanding free beer, or called them a whore or a fag or a terrorist when they refused. What do they think you take them for? BLM?

    No. They just refuse to serve people who look like they work for a living, and their usual clients are in their condos clogging up 911, screaming at the cops to do something about all the commoners acting like they have rights or something.

    Get woke, go broke. That’s the moral of this story.

    Businesses in the parts of Ottawa where normal people live are finally recovering. They support the truckers, because they want the recovery to continue.

    1. All those claims of bad behavior, and not a single video? If there were one, CBC would be running it on a continuous loop. And in this day of video cameras in everyone’s pockets, how could such an event NOT end up on video? We get to see random Karen freak-outs, but these claims mysteriously never end up on YouTube?

      No doubt many others will do the same.
      I used to contribute to a cause here and there on GoFundMe but noticed a few years back that every Tom, Dick and Harry was using it. So I stopped altogether.
      Until…The Freedom Convoy where I gave in good faith that it was going to get to the right cause.

  8. We truckers have been poorly paid for years and have always had to wait 60-120 days to receive our money as owner operators! What make Gofundme think that anything they are doing could even effect us! We live in cramped quarters our whole lives and are always away from our families. What makes anyone think that they can wait us out! People really don’t have any concept of how long we can ride this out.
