  1. Perhaps the “shame” is that of western nations that still do business with the Chicoms. A Stalinist like Xi knows no shame. Shame is what Canada exhibits every day that the Spawn hold’s power and grovels up to Xi like an (ideologically) addictive loser relationship with abusive uncle.

  2. Fascism with Chinese characteristics is in the long-term interest of absolutely no one. Not even the Chinese.

  3. Look at how outraged the left was about the monument to the Victims of Communism in Ottawa.

They don’t like being reminded that their Marxist ideology directly caused the murder of 100 million of their own citizens.

  4. There are no leaders in the West sufficiently courageous to defy China. Steyn is right on, as is Gordon Chang at Gatestone Institute. Both recognize the agenda of this tyrant while our leaders and corporations prostrate themselves at the altar of BIG money to be made in China.

We are well and truly fucked, we have lost this version of the Cold War, to a much more clever enemy. And we are lead by ?????

    1. If we’re losing, who’s winning? The Chinese? Hardly. In their alleged moment of triumph they’re so miserable they’ve stopped reproducing, even after the lifting of the one-child rule.

Western globalism, and fascism with Chinese characteristics, are in the long-term interest of absolutely no one. They are recipes for human extinction.

The only breeds of humanity that are still fruitful and multiplying are the ones either enslaved by Islam, incapable of controlling their urge to breed, or both. When industrial civilization disappears, along with the humans capable of sustaining it, so will the food supply of the savages. Then they’ll disappear too.

Xi Jinping doesn’t care. He does not believe in the God of Israel. As he see it, he wins if he dies in bed like Mao Zedong, worshipped as a god himself from the Forbidden City to the ends of the earth. What comes after that is the problem of his luckless successor.

He’s winning so far. I can’t think of anybody else who might be.

  5. They had to. It’s a monument to the African slave trade. There’s even a Dundas Street in Hong Kong.

  6. Olympics? What Olympics? Won’t be watching. Didn’t watch the last ones either, in Japan I think.
Any parent that would council their kid to get involved in any effort that may have the ultimate achievement of “going to the Olympics” needs to have their head examined.
What a waste of a youth!
As far as hockey, haven’t wasted time on that either! I played a lot as a kid some 60 years ago and loved it. Today’s game is different.

  7. Sorry, Saw a squirrel and didn’t finish up, by saying that there is no way that anyone attending the Chicom Olympics represents me as a Canadian. I couldn’t care less. I don’t want the government to piddle away any tax money to send any of those dupes there or bring them back.

  8. Everyone has known about communist China and what it is capable of.

Tienanmen Square had ZERO effect on the conscience of the West. The Uiyghur problem is just moral posturing.

Hell, they infected us with their virus.

Nothing China does matters to greedy, materialistic people.
