Between the radicals of left and right, there is a vast dead zone which I would divide into two roughly equal halves. One of them is faintly conservative and would prefer that our radical philosophies would win out, but they don’t want trouble and are too easily intimidated by liberal social contacts and family etc. The other half are mildly progressive and are willing to remain ignorant as to how the globalists are actually doing what they do, because they want them to succeed no matter what laws are broken or rights are trampled. Hence the puzzling statistic that 70% of U.S. voters think there was fraud in 2020 while (if there was fraud) only 50 to 55% voted for Trump. (if there was not fraud then 30% are correct and 45% voted for Trump).
It is this “go along to get along” mentality that has allowed the globalists to accomplish what amounts to a revolution without firing a shot other than one at Ashli Babbitt and another at Scalise (and his fellow baseball players of that incident). And of those crimes, only one is currently even viewed as criminal.
It should be clear to any rational person that the climate change movement is a thinly disguised effort to overthrow free market economics in favour of directed socialism, in which unproductive alternative energy sources will be heavily subsidized so they can continue to pretend that they actually generate any electricity worth mentioning. So many people out there, however, just want to virtue signal or live in peace and harmony with the idiots down the street and at the other end of their video phone calls, so they pretend not to see any of this and act nervous if anyone does mention it. If our economies slowly fall apart under the dead weight of faulty assumptions then they will go down with the ship, never having tried to avoid hitting the iceberg dead on.
I wonder what Churchill or Maggie Thatcher would have said at Glasgow and specifically to Greta Thunberg. “It’s past your bedtime” might be a start.

The real difference is between authoritarian and libertarian. Centralised authority and autonomy.
It is true that in any major issue, there will be a minority of true believers at either end of the spectrum, and a majority who are not sufficiently convinced to change their behaviour. Particularly when doing so, costs.

The rights of the citizens are effectively undermined by listening to “activists” and following the “advice of experts” who cannot be held responsible for bad decision making. I also believe that liberals or left-leaning people are often quite ignorant about the Left which would explain the necessity for lies, fraud, censorship, violence and intimidation by the Left in your model of weaker and stronger political persuasions. If only “the” 1% would suffer under communism then it would still be immoral but much more successful. In fact it is the establishment of violent party feudalism at a massive cost of life, liberty, prosperity and happiness where even former “comrades” are among the dissidents, victims and (if there is any possibility) refugees.

I had a Philosophy professor thirty years ago that had a theory that societies have immune systems to bad ideas (meaning socialism & communism ) but that the immunity only lasted through the living memory of the society. As each generation moved farther away from directly experiencing the horrors of these terrible ideas, the immunity degraded to the point where it was lost completely and the current generation thinks they are great ideas again (because on paper who wouldn’t want their burdens eased by the government?). Reality is a hard pill to swallow, even for the toughest among us, winners and losers, rich and poor, beautiful and ugly. In the past Western architects of societal systems relied heavily on time tested ideals, truth, honor, country, family and church. Now that has been horribly mutated, but the masses don’t realize it yet because everyone’s belly is full to overflowing and flat panel tvs and iPhones are abundant. A liberal ideas will fail when the rubber meets the road as they always have. With all the attendant misery as usual.

Is that even true? What if … many Democrats felt Trump’s team were part of a fraud? They would contribute to the 70% (fraud) but not the 55% (Trump). And what about the Democrats who thought the Democrats committed fraud yet voted Democrat anyway because they hate Trump more than fraud?
After all, it’s just a poll.
Clearly the right to a vote should be earned, not bestowed on everyone in the public. Conflict of interest should exclude you from voting (e.g. working for the government, being on government benefits). No votes for prisoners, mentally disabled, the woke…., illegals.

The Global Climate scare was nothing more than an attempt at control and fortunately it failed since the end result was too far in the future for the herd to really worry about it. However the damage was done as it did influence the children of the Nineties and as they come of age and take control many of them have been placed in positions that have damaged our society. The problem now is that the Covid scare has been introduced to supplant Global Warming.
Global Warming was the test case to try and gain control. The Covid ploy has proven to be the master stroke in the game of control. We now see that there is a division that may never be repaired occurring within Western society. The loss of freedom that is now apparent with the mandated vaccine passports that is being enforced by our politicians, while at the same time they allow unrestricted freedom of movement by illegal migrants is extremely telling. At what point does the herd wake up to what has transpired over the last two years?
There has been a great amount of discussion here at SDA regarding both Global Warming and now the Plandemic. With Global Warming the pot was taking too long to boil and the planners had aged twenty plus years in the waiting. With the Plandemic in less than two years they have taken absolute control. They have divided us in a manner that only Hitler, Stalin, and Mao could only have dreamed. The ‘vaxxers’ are more than happy to line up for the experiment and at the same time they are more than happy to force the rest of us to abandon our cherished freedoms, if not they will happily escort us to the ‘quarantine camps’ after they have enforced our poverty by unlawful mandate.
The present state of affairs in Australia where they confiscated guns was a pre-emptive strike against freedom. The planners knew that this could not be accomplished so easily in America so they have enacted Plan B. This entails using the Plandemic to create the narrative that any opposition is an act of ‘domestic terrorism’. The so-called January 6 “insurrection” was just the beginning now any public gathering is to be viewed as an attempt to overthrow the government. Parents are now being told they have no rights with respect to the education of their children. Heroes last year are reviled and ostracized this year, many are being terminated because of their belief in freedom and human rights.
The Globalist Plan may come undone at this point if all of the Heroes in America that are being terminated took it upon themselves to unite and that has the Democrats deathly afraid. It would be very difficult for police and the military to try and control the very members that they served alongside of just a short while ago. The Central Planners did not envisage that scenario.

My Mexican Mennonite neighbour has decided to move his family back to Mexico as he would rather live amongst the cartels than live under the ever increasing regulations that he viewed as a bigger threat to the way he would like to live. His views aligned with my thoughts that the underground economy will one of the keys here to decentralizing government. Just do some math what a semi loads of food, energy and other commodities will be worth, risk for reward ratios as they continue to squeeze people out. Laws mean nothing when families are threatened.
