  1. Several of my fellow grad students went on to get faculty positions. Two of them wound up at Dalhousie.

    They wanted a nice cushy job for life. They’re welcome to it.

      1. The ONLY reason for “Black Studies” is to make University more accessible to dumb people. That’s it. Nothing more. American Universities have made BIG BANK by admitting academically unqualified students into useless degree programs. All funded by Obama’s takeover of the Student Loan program.

        Millions of DUMB students with 6-figure college debt … Universities swimming in that cash.

        Obama’s push to get DUMB people into college is literally … literally … economically WORSE than The Democrat-led Senate Banking Committee forcing Banks to make loans to unqualified applicants which crashed the world’s economy for 6-years. It seems every Democrat attempt to socially-engineer around REALITY … FAILS.

        Sad to see Canada following the template of FAILURE.

  5. Will this help to stop black shootings and crime in our cities? Didn’t our former police chief show the statistics of black crime many years ago in Toronto with some 85% of it done by blacks.

    I have met many blacks who are great people and have the values of Canadian culture. My son’s nanny was a lovely black lady and she was a guest at his wedding. Hope black studies helps with an understanding of their culture

    1. You meant to say their cultural decay. Their cultural rot. They’d all be best served to return to the 50’s when black families were intact and following the white mans template for success. Crying, carping, and playing the perpetual victim is a clear and wide pathway to self destruction.

      Build back better means … more social engineering FAIL (see my comment above re: Obama’s easy student loan change). Fact is … there IS a bell curve … and Universities are admitting wholly unqualified students … which is an immorality as it serves ONLY the University’s coffers and POWER … not the student’s.

    For parasitic, non-productive organizations (education, government) I imagine it seals the deal.

  11. Yes, because there isn’t enough division and segregation, blaming, entitlement, bigotry and hatred in the country, we need black studies to make up that deficit.

    A select few will get hired for corporate Human Resources and Marketing departments. These will be corporate boards of directors all confused why they went bankrupt.

  13. What I want to know is “What is THEIR culture actually?” Can someone with a higher(?) understanding provide an answer. I understand that the Scots have a culture, as do the Germans, and the English, even the Americans have a culture but I’m at a loss to understand a Black culture. Some one please enlighten me.
